Abstract

Female independent entrepreneurs have a strategic role in supporting the country's economy. However, well-being of the female independent entrepreneurs has not received much attention from researchers. This quantitative study aims to determine the role of resilience in the well-being of female independent entrepreneurs. A total of 334 female independent entrepreneurs became research respondents who were obtained through accidental sampling techniques. Data was collected using a questionnaire filled out online using a resilience measurement tool (CD-RISC 25) from Connor and Davidson (2003) consisting of 25 items, and well-being by Diener, et al. (2010) which consists of cognitive aspects (flourishing) with 8 items and affective aspects (scales of positive and negative experience) with 12 items. Data were analyzed using regression techniques. This study provides findings that resilience plays a role in well-being (flourishing and positive-negative affect experiences) for female self-employed actors by 42.9% and 16.2%, respectively. Namun demikian, kesejahteraan pelaku wirausaha mandiri wanita ini belum banyak mendapat perhatian dari para peneliti. Penelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran resiliensi dalam kesejahteraan pada pelaku wirausaha mandiri perempuan. Sebanyak 334 pelaku wirausaha mandiri perempuan menjadi responden penelitian yang diperoleh melalui teknik accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang diisi secara online menggunakan alat ukur resiliensi (CD-RISC 25) dari Connor dan Davidson (2003) yang terdiri atas 25 item, dan kesejahteraan (well-being) oleh Diener, dkk. (2010) yang terdiri atas aspek kognitif (flourishing) dengan 8 item dan aspek afektif (scales of positive and negative experience) dengan 12 item. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi. Penelitian ini memberikan temuan bahwa resiliensi berperan dalam kesejahteraan (flourishing dan pengalaman afek positifnegatif) pada pelaku wirausaha mandiri perempuan masing-masing sebesar 42,9% dan 16,2%.
