Abstract
Pakan Baburu merupakan film dokumenter yang mengangkat mengenai sebuah tradisi masyarakat minangkabau yaitu berburu babi. Film ini menceritakan mengenai sejarah singkat berburu babi, apa saja perawatan yang dibutuhkan untuk anjingnya, bagaimana rangkaian acara berburu, hingga apa saja manfaat dari kegiatan berburu babi tersebut. Minimnya pengetahuan masyarakat luar tentang tradisi Pakan Baburu, hal ini mendorong penulis untuk memberikan informasi dan memperkenalkan salah satu kekayaan tradisi yang ada di Indonesia. Tujuannya agar memperdalam pengetahuan mengenai seni, sejarah, dan perkembangan sosial budaya yang sebaiknya selalu ditanamkan pada masyarakat. Dalam pembuatan film dokumenter ini penulis yang berperan sebagai sutradara mengalami beberapa kendala seperti, kesulitan untuk mendapat shoot ketika babinya tertangkap. Karena lokasi berburu yang sangat luas dari satu bukit kebukit lainnya sulit sekali mendapatkan moment tersebut. Selain itu penulis juga kesulitan untuk mencari narasumber yang bersedia di wawancarai langsung dilokasi. Solusinya yaitu ketika beberapa kali ikut berburu penulis dan tim semaksimal mungkin mencari dengan berpencar dilokasi untuk mendapatkan momen tersebut. Menyusun berbagai rencana seperti meminta juru kamera untuk mengikuti tim pembuka jalan dan tim pencari babi. Penulis juga melakukan pendekatan dengan narasumber agar mau diwawancarai dan mencoba semaksimal mungkin walaupun beberapa kali retake. Kata Kunci:Pakan Baburu, Film documenter, Traisi, Sutradara Pakan Baburu is a documentary film about a Minangkabau tradition, namely hunting pigs. This film tells about a brief history of hunting pigs, what care is needed for the dog, how the series of hunting events are, to what are the benefits of hunting pigs. The lack of knowledge from outsiders about the Pakan Baburu tradition, this encourages the author to provide information and introduce one of the rich traditions that exist in Indonesia. The goal is to deepen knowledge about art, history, and socio-cultural developments that should always be instilled in the community. In making this documentary, the writer who acted as the director experienced several obstacles, such as difficulty in getting a shot when the pig was caught. Because the hunting location is very wide from one hill to another, it is very difficult to get that moment. In addition, the author also had difficulty finding sources who were willing to be interviewed on the spot. The solution was when several times he joined the hunt for writers and the team as much as possible searched by scattering in locations to get the moment. Develop various plans such as asking the cameraman to follow the road clearing team and the hog search team. The author also approached the informants so that they would be interviewed and tried as much as possible even though there were several cracks.
