Abstract

At this time many companies still use attendance manuals, especially in small companies or agencies, of course, they are very happy if in this digital era they do not take advantage of developing technology, in this case many employees commit fraud in manipulating attendance data which is detrimental to the company's progress, in addition to poses a lot of risks and trials that employees can do, using a manual on the attendance system also uses a lot of time because they have to record each employee's absence one by one, of course this is not effective. Therefore, the author makes an android device system to determine the position of employees. With this system, employes discipline, reduce the potential for fraud, increase efficiency and accuracy, can unite employees who are often absent, can unite employees in assignments, are able to create a productive work environment, know the position of employees who work. Key words: Application, Attendance, Android, Empoyee Absence Saat ini banyak perusahaan yang masih menggunakan absensi manual terutama pada perusahaan atau instansi yang lebih kecil, tentunya sangat disayangkan jika di era digital ini tidak memanfaatkan teknologi yang semakin berkembang. Masih banyak karyawan yang melakukan kecurangan dengan memanipulasi data absensi manual yang merugikan perusahaan, sehingga menghambat kemajuan perusahaan. Penggunaan cara manual dalam sistem pencatat absensi juga memakan banyak waktu karena harus mencatat kehadiran setiap karyawan satu per satu, yang tentunya tidak efisien. Dengan sistem ini pegawai dapat mendisiplinkan, mengurangi kecurangan, meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi, dapat mengontrol pegawai yang sering mangkir, dapat mengontrol pegawai terhadap penugasan, dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang produktif dan mengetahui keadaan pegawai yang bekerja.
