Abstract
Gaya hidup atau yang lebih kenal istilah Lifestyle merupakan sebuah gambaran tingkah laku, pola, dan cara hidup yang ditunjukkan dengan bagaimana aktivitas seseorang dari minat, ketertarikan serta apa yang mereka pikirkan tentang diri mereka sendiri sehingga membedakan statusnya dari orang lain dan lingkungan melalui lambang – lambang sosial yang mereka miliki. Gaya hidup berkaitan erat dengan perkembangan zaman dan teknologi . Perkembangan zaman tidak lepas dari kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi telah membawa perubahan kepada masyarakat, baik dalam cara berpikir maupun tingkah laku.. Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang masif akibat adanya globalisasi menjadi faktor utama penyebab besarnya antusisme publik tehadap Korean Wave di Indonesia. Budaya Korea berkembang pesat dan meluas secara global dalam dua dekade terakhir. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis resepsi. Analisis resepsi merupakan sebuah pendekatan baru dalam sebuah penelitian mengenai khalayak media. Analisis resepsi Stuart Hall memfokuskan pertemuan antara teks dan media. Analisis resepsi memandang audiens sebagai producer of meaning yang aktif menciptakan makna bukan hanya sebagai konsumen dari isi media saja. Audiens memaknai dan menginterpretasikan teks media sosial dengan kondisi sosial budaya mereka dan juga dipengaruhi oleh pengalaman pribadi masing-masing. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma kontrukstivisme dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif dan metode analisis resepsi dari Stuart Hall. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui resepsi lifestyle (gaya hidup) yang ditampilkan anggota BTS pada tayangan BTS In The Soop. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 7 informan, dua diantaranya berada pada kategori Dominant Hegemonic Position dan lima lainnya berada di kategori Negotiated Position. Posisi pembacaan khalayak didominasi oleh posisi negosiasi, kemudian diikuti dengan posisi dominan. Dalam penelitian ini, tidak ada informan yang berada pada posisi oposisi. Kata Kunci : Analisis Resepsi, Lifestyle, BTS In The Soop. Advances in science and technology have brought changes to society, both in the way of thinking and behavior. The massive development of information technology due to globalization is the main factor causing the public enthusiasm for the Korean Wave in Indonesia. Korean culture has grown rapidly and expanded globally in the last two decades. This study uses reception analysis. Reception analysis is a new approach in research on media audiences. Stuart Hall's reception analysis focuses on the confluence of text and media. Reception analysis views the audience as a producer of meaning who actively creates meaning, not only as consumers of media content. Audiences interpret and interpret social media texts with their socio-cultural conditions and are also influenced by their personal experiences. This research uses constructivism paradigm with qualitative research type and reception analysis method from Stuart Hall. The purpose of this study was to determine the lifestyle reception displayed by BTS members on BTS In The Soop broadcasts. The results showed that of the 7 informants, two of them were in the Dominant Hegemonic Position category and the other five were in the Negotiated Position category. The position of audience reading is dominated by the negotiating position, followed by the dominant position. In this study, none of the informants were in an oppositional position.
