Abstract
Housing is an important thing in human life. One of the factors affecting the feasibility of family housing is the economic factor. Horizontal housing in the Cakung area of Jakarta is starting to become difficult to find. So that each family only has a small house because of limited land. Coupled with the economic factor for middle to lower class citizens. Vertical residential improvements will be an alternative for middle-level residents. By continuing to maintain the socio-cultural life that has been formed in the region. So that residents will be comfortable living in a simple apartment area with existing management and supporting facilities. The concept of apartment building is energy efficient building. Keywords: Simple Flats, Energy Efficient Buildings. Hunian menjadi hal penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kelayakan hunian bagi keluarga adalah faktor ekonomi. Hunian yang besifat horizontal di wilayah Cakung Jakarta sudah mulai susah ditemukan. Sehingga tiap keluarga hanya memiliki rumah yang kecil karena lahan terbatas. Ditambah lagi dengan faktor ekonomi untuk warga menengah kebawah. Perbaikian hunian yang bersifat vertikal akan menjadi alternative untuk warga dengan penghasilan menengah kebawah. Dengan tetap mempertahanan kehidupan sosial budaya yang sudah terbentuk diwilayah tersebut. Sehingga warga akan nyaman tinggal di kawasan rumah susun sederhana dengan tata kelola dan fasilitas penunjang yang sudah tersedia. Konsep bangunan Rumah susun yaitu bangunan hemat energi. Kata Kunci : Rumah Susun sederhana, Bangunan Hemat Energi
