Abstract

ABSTRAK Pandemi Covid-19 yang memasuki Indonesia menyebabkan sistem pembelajaran di lembaga pendidikan dialihkan ke pembelajaran menggunakan daring atau online. Sistem yang baru ini menyebabkan terjadinya keterbatasan komunikasi antara guru dan siswa. Salah satu sekolah yang terdampak oleh sistem pembelajaran yang baru adalah Sekolah Alam Cikeas, Dikarenakan sistem yang baru ini guru kerap melakukan inovasi dalam program pembelajaran untuk membantu kegiatan pembelajaran siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti apakah ada pengaruh komunikasi efektif guru dan siswa di dalam pembelajaran terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMA Sekolah Alam Cikeas. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu komunikasi efektif oleh L.Tubbs & Sylvia Moss dan teori motivasi belajar oleh Cherniss dan Goleman. . Teknik pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan probability sampling dengan simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada Siswa SMA Sekolah Alam cikeas berjumlah 40 siswa, dimana sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 36 responden Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh hasil bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara komunikasi efektif guru dan siswa terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMA Sekolah Alam Cikeas dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 55,6% Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Efektif, Motivasi Belajar Siswa, Pandemi Covid-19, Pembelajaran Daring ABSTRACT The Covid-19 pandemic that entered Indonesia caused the learning system in educational institutions to be shifted to online learning. This new system causes limited communication between teachers and students. One of the schools affected by the new learning system is the Sekolah Alam Cikeas. Due to this new system, teachers often innovate in learning programs to assist student learning activities. This study aims to examine whether there is an effect of effective communication between teachers and students in learning on the learning motivation of high school students at Sekolah Alam Cikeas. The theory used in this research is effective communication by L. Tubbs & Sylvia Moss and learning motivation theory by Cherniss and Goleman. The data collection technique in this study used probability sampling with simple random sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires to 40 students of SMA Alam Cikeas High School students, where the sample in this study was 36 respondents. Based on the results of research and data analysis that has been carried out, the results show that there is a significant influence between teacher and student effective communication on student motivation at SMA Alam Cikeas with a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 55.6%.
