Abstract

With the emergence of various structural designs in the current era, it can increase the risk that occurs in buildings during an earthquake. Therefore, special treatment is needed on the building, one of which is by adding a stiffening structure in the form of shearwall to the building. The addition of the shearwall structure cannot simply be placed in an arbitrary position because it can cause the structure to be ineffective in resisting earthquake lateral forces. Therefore, this study aims to find an effective shearwall position in resisting the forces caused by the earthquake. This research was conducted by making a building with an H layout with 4 variations of shear wall placement. This study was made to determine the effective shear wall position modeling in high-rise buildings by comparing 4 different shear wall position models using the percentage value of the multiple system, the period of the structure, and the deviation between floors. Based on the results of the analysis in this study, it shows that the value of the deviation between floors in each modeling is still within the permissible limits with the smallest value of the deviation between floors in both the X direction and the Y direction is model 2 with the X direction deviation value of 18.370 mm and the Y direction of 23,821 mm. The effective height of the shear wall in the building with H layout with a total of 12 floors is still within the required limits, so it can be concluded that the shear wall is still effective in resisting lateral forces due to earthquake loads. Dengan bermunculannya design struktur yang beragam pada era saat ini dapat meningkatkan resiko yang terjadi pada bangunan saat gempa bumi. Maka dari itu, dibutuhkan perlakuan khusus pada bangunan salah satunya dengan menambahkan struktur pengaku berupa shearwall pada bangunan. Penambahan sturuktur shearwall tidak bisa semata-mata ditaruh pada posisi yang sembarang karena dapat menyebabkan tidak efektifnya struktur dalam menahan gaya lateral gempa. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari posisi shearwall yang efektif dalam menahan gaya yang disebabkan gempa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan membuat gedung berlayout H dengan 4 variasi penempatan dinding geser. Penelitian ini dibuat untuk mengetahui permodelan posisi dinding geser yang efektif pada bangunan bertingkat tinggi dengan membandingkan 4 permodelan posisi dinding geser yang bervariasi menggunakan nilai prosentase sistem ganda, periode struktur, dan simpangan antar lantai. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada penelitian ini menunjukkan untuk nilai simpangan antar lantai pada masingmasing pemodelan masih dalam batas yang diizinkan dengan nilai simpangan antar lantai terkecil baik pada arah X dan arah Y adalah model 2 dengan nilai simpangan arah X sebesar 18,370 mm dan arah Y sebesar 23,821 mm. Ketinggian efektif shear wall pada bangunan gedung berlayout H dengan jumlah 12 lantai masih berada di dalam batas yang disyaratkan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan shear wall masih efektif menahan gaya lateral akibat beban gempa.
