Abstract

Indonesia has a long history of fine arts, including painting and ceramic art. Many Indonesian artists were then interested in studying painting and studying painting to Europe. Since then, many painters have emerged with works of art that have high value and quality. In addition, there are many historical ceramic art relics from the nation's civilization in the past which have become assets and have high artistic value in their history. However, over time, fine arts and ceramics must be preserved, not damaged and not reducing the value of historical art. Therefore, in an effort to appreciate the history and culture, one of the efforts is the existence of the Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum as a forum to introduce the preservation of this cultural heritage to the public, and the importance of studying the history of fine arts and ceramics. In the design this time using the concept of Modern Architecture. Modern architecture can be interpreted as a statement of the soul of a mass that can adapt to social and economic changes that emerged in its time. Modern architecture also uses materials such as steel, glass, and aluminum which are shown honestly and are not ornamented. The location of the site is on Jalan Arif Rachman Hakim, Central Jakarta with a land area of 1.5 Ha. This design concept is adapted to the concept of site design, building design, structure and utility in the design of the Jakarta fine arts and ceramics museum. Keywords: Fine Arts and Ceramics Museum, Modern Architecture, Museum Indonesia memiliki sejarah panjang mengenai seni rupa diantaranya adalah jenis karya seni lukis dan seni keramik. Banyak perupa Indonesia yang kemudian tertarik mendalami seni lukis dan belajar melukis hingga ke Eropa. Sejak saat itu, banyak bermunculan pelukis dengan karya seni yang memiliki nilai dan kualitas yang tinggi. Selain itu, banyak peninggalan seni keramik bersejarah dari peradaban bangsa di masa lampau yang menjadi aset dan memiliki nilai seni yang tinggi dalam sejarahnya. Namun, seiring dengan berjalannya waktu seni rupa dan seni keramik tetap harus di jaga kelestariannya tetap terjaga, tidak rusak dan tidak mengurangi nilai seni sejarah tersebut. Oleh karena itu, upaya untuk menghargai sejarah dan kebudayaan tersebut, salah satu upaya yaitu dengan adanya Museum Seni Rupa dan Keramik sebagai wadah untuk mengenalkan pelestarian warisan budaya ini kepada masyarakat, dan pentingnya mempelajari sejarah dari seni rupa dan seni keramik. Pada perancangan kali ini menggunakan konsep Arsitektur Modern. Arsitektur Modern dapat diartikan sebagai pernyataan jiwa dari suatu massa yang dapat menyesuaikan diri terhadap perubahan sosial dan ekonomi yang muncul pada zamannya. Arsitektur Modern juga menggunakan bahan material seperti baja, kaca, dan alumunium yang diperlihatkan secara jujur dan tidak diberi ornamen. Lokasi tapak berada di jalan Arif Rachman Hakim, Jakarta Pusat dengan luas lahan 1,5 Ha. Konsep perancangan ini di sesuaikan dengan konsep perancangan tapak, perancangan bangunan, struktur dan utilitas dalam desain museum seni rupa dan keramik Jakarta.
