Abstract

In saving the tourism industry in Indonesia after Covid-19, a strategy is needed, one of which can be done is to increase tourism-related industries, one of which is the hotel industry. Sawarna beach tourism object is one of Indonesian tourism which is increasingly recognized by foreign and domestic tourists so that many tourists are starting to visit. However, Sawarna Beach only has 4 resorts and inadequate facilities. Resort is an accommodation for visitors who are on vacation and want a change from their daily activities located in a tourist area, which provides facilities for vacation, recreation and sports. The local environment is a tourist village area which is dominated by the Sundanese people who are closely related to the Kasepuhan custom. The choice of Vernacular Architecture as a concept in the design of the Resort on the Sawarna beach can be based on the Neo Vernacular approach of kasepuhan adat. So the title taken in this Final Architectural Design is Resort Design at Sawarna Beach Tourism with a Neo Vernacular Approach. Keywords: Resort, Tourism, Sawarna Beach, Neo Vernacular Architecture. Dalam menyelamatkan industri pariwisata di Indonesia pasca Covid-19, diperlukan strategi, salah satu yang dapat dilakukan adalah meningkatkan industri yang terkait pariwisata salah satunya industri perhotelan. Obyek wisata pantai sawarna merupakan salah satu pariwisata indonesia yang semakin dikenal oleh wisatawan mancanegara maupun dosmetik sehingga mulai banyak wisatawan yang berkunjung. Namun, pada Pantai Sawarna hanya memiliki 4 resort dan fasilitas yang belum memadai. Resort adalah penginapan bagi pengunjung yang berlibur dan menginginkan perubahan dari kegiatan sehari-hari yang terletak dikawasan wisata, yang menyediakan fasilitas untuk berlibur, rekreasi dan olah raga. Lingkungan setempat merupakan wilayah desa wisata yang didominasi masyarakat sunda yang lekat dengan adat Kasepuhan. Pemilihan Arsitektur Vernakular sebagai konsep pada perancangan Resort di pantai Sawarna dapat berdasarkan pendekatan Neo Vernakular adat kasepuhan. Maka judul yang diambil dalam Perancangan Arsitektur Akhir ini adalah Perancangan Resort di Wisata Pantai Sawarna dengan Pendekatan Neo Vernakular.
