Abstract
Employee recruitment is very important for a company because at this stage the company must be very selective in selecting new employees in order to get HR (Human Resources) who are very competent in their fields so that they can support the company's performance well. This research was taken because in the case study sometimes errors still occur in the employee recruitment process, therefore the application can increase the effectiveness of the employee recruitment process and make it easier for HRD, especially in selecting candidate files because there is an auto recommendation feature that serves to provide recommendations to prospective applicants based on with the required criteria. In this study, the application was developed using the waterfall method so that at the initial stage the researcher had to collect the data needed for the development of the application so that during the process of working on the application it was in accordance with the workflow that had been designed and the application was made using the Python programming language and the PostgreSql database. Key words: Employee recruitment, Python, PostgreSql, HR Perekrutan karyawan tergolong sangat penting bagi suatu perusahaan karena pada tahapan ini perusahaan harus sangat selektif dalam memilih calon karyawan barunya guna untuk mendapatkan SDM (Sumber Daya Manusia) yang sangat kompeten pada bidangnya sehingga dapat menunjang kinerja perusahaan dengan baik. Penelitian ini diambil karena dalam studi kasus tersebut terkadang masih terjadi kekeliruan dalam proses perekrutan karyawan oleh karena itu aplikasi tersebut dapat meningkatkan keefektifan proses perekrutan karyawan serta mempermudah HRD khususnya dalam penyeleksian pemberkasan para kandidat dikarenakan terdapat fitur auto recommendation yang berfungsi untuk memberikan rekomendasi para calon pelamar berdasarkan dengan kriteria yang dibutuhkan. Dalam penelitian ini aplikasi tersebut dikembangkan menggunakan metode waterfall sehingga pada tahapan awal peneliti harus mengumpulkan data-data yang diperlukan untuk pengembangan aplikasi tersebut agar pada saat proses pengerjaan aplikasinya sesuai dengan alur kerja yang sudah dirancang dan aplikasi tersebut dibuat menggunakan Bahasa pemrograman Python serta database PostgreSql.
