Abstract

PT United Can represent Company of Manufactur moving in the field of Can Making. The important thing to keep survive at this bussines is about Customer Satisfactions In its growth United Can always oriented give the best product to Customer. Because of this reason, especially for Fox’s can customer we need "Make-Up the Product Quality with Six Sigma Method”. Phase “Define” that is determined a problems to be analysed with method 5W-1H . “What” ( plan action to be done], “When” ( determining execution period, “Who” ( who hold responsible ), “Why” ( why plan that action is selected ), “Where” ( which process of that plan will be applied, “How” ( how that action will be pecified ). Phase “Measure” to know existing problem and also calculate condition capability of company in this time. At this phase is known that Body Making process result biggest defect so that research focused at Body Making process. The value of Index capability process company only reaching Cpk 0.43 inferential to so that process uncapable. Phase “Analyse” done a problems analysis by determining the defect cause factors with method fishbone continued by determination Critical To Quality ( CTQ). Repairing process done with FMEA method. After visible implementation result of the improvement stiltedly sigma value of equal to 2,42 sigma. ( 2,78 sigma before increase to be 5.20 sigma ) Key word : Sigma level, Cpk, Minitab. PT United Can merupakan Perusahaan Manufactur yang bergerak dalam bidang Can Making. Hal yang paling penting dalam usaha ini adalah Kepuasan Pelanggan Dalam perkembangannya PT United Can selalu berorientasi untuk selalu berusaha memenuhi segala tuntutan dari Pelanggan. Berdasarkan hal ini maka perlu dilakukan “Peningkatan Kualitas Produksi Product Dengan Metode Six Sigma “. Tahap define yaitu ditentukan permasalahan yang akan dianalisa dengan metode 5W-1H. What (rencana tindakan yang akan dilakukan), When (menentukan periode pelaksanaan ), Who ( siapa yang bertanggung jawab ), Why (mengapa rencana tindakan itu dipilih ), Where ( pada proses mana rencana itu akan diterapkan, How ( bagaimana tindakan itu akan ditetapkan ). Tahap measure untuk mengetahui masalah yang ada serta menghitung kondisi kapabilitas perusahaan saat ini. Pada tahap ini diketahui Proses Body Maker mengakibatkan cacat terbesar sehingga penelitian difokusksn ke Proses Body Maker. Nilai Indek kapabilitas proses perusahaan hanya mencapai Cpk 0.43 sehingga dapat disimpulkan proses uncapable. Tahap analyse dilakukan analisa permasalahan dengan menentukan faktor–faktor penyebab cacat dengan metode fishbone dilanjutkan penentuan Critical To Quality ( CTQ). Proses perbaikan dilakukan dengan metode FMEA. Setelah implementasi dapat dilihat hasil dari improvement dengan bergesernya nilai sigma sebesar 2.42 sigma. ( dari 2,78 sigma menjadi 5,20 sigma ) Kata kunci :Sigma level, Cpk, Minitab
