Abstract

There are several types of coffee in Indonesia. Among the many types of coffee beans, one will find it difficulty to choose the best coffee beans among the many types of coffee available. To make it easier for entrepreneur and coffee connoisseurs to identify coffee beans, a decision support system is needed that can help determine the best coffee based on the given criteria. So that the results obtained can help coffee entrepreneurs in determining decisions in the selection of coffee beans. There are 4 criteria obtained from interviews by the parties we studied to determine the best coffee beans, namely price, quantity, taste, and variety. These criteria are used in developing the system using the simple additive weighting method. Based on calculation criteria, Sipetung coffee beans are the best coffee beans. Meanwhile, Gayo coffee beans are the last rangked coffee beans based on calculation that have been made. Keywords: Decision Support System, Coffee Beans, Arabica, Robusta, Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Ada beberapa jenis kopi di Indonesia. Diantara sekian banyak jenis biji kopi, seseorang akan kesulitan untuk memilih biji kopi terbaik di anatara sekian banyak jenis biji kopi yang ada. Untuk memudahkan para pengusaha kopi dalam mengidentifikasi biji kopi terbaik, maka diperlukan suatu sistem pendukung keputusan yang dapat membantu menentukan biji kopi terbaik berdasarkan kriteria yang diberikan. Sehingga hasil yang didapatkan dapat membantu pengusaha kopi dalam menentukan keputusan dalam pemilihan biji kopi yang akan dijual kembali oleh pengusaha kopi. Adapun 4 kriteria yang didapatkan dari hasil wawancara oleh pihak yang kita teliti untuk menentukan biji kopi terbaik, yaitu harga, kuantitas, rasa, dan varietas. Kriteria tersebut digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem menggunakan Metode Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Berdasarkan kriteria perhitungan yang dilakukan maka biji kopi Sipetung merupakan biji kopi terbaik. Sedangkan Gayo merupakan biji kopi peringkat terakhir berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan.
