Abstract

Awareness of the importance of protecting endangered animals seems to have not been instilled in every community because of a lack of knowledge, one of the endangered animals in Indonesia is the Sumatran tiger. Its population is now decreasing due to illegal hunting by humans. In order to raise awareness to the public later, the Sumatran tiger illustration book provides information as well as information presented in the form of illustrations made for children so that they can better understand and understand the Sumatran tiger. Packaged in image and text design elements that are tailored for readers with the aim of making it easier and understandable. Keywords : Buku illustrasi harimau Sumatra, buku cerita anak Kesadaran akan pentingnya menjaga hewan yang sudah langka tampaknya masih belum tertanam di diri setiap masyarakat juga karena disebabkan karena kurangnya pengetahuan salah satu hewan yang sudah langka di Indonesia adalah harimau Sumatera Populasinya yang kini kian terus menurun karena perburuan liar yang dilakukan oleh manusia perlu di berikannya edukasi sejak dini agar dapat memberikan kesadaran kepada masyarakat nantinya, buku ilustrasi harimau Sumatera memberikan informasi sekaligus informasi yang disajikan dalam bentuk ilustrasi yang dibuat untuk anak-anak agar dapat lebih mengerti dan memahami akan harimau Sumatera. Dikemas dalam elemen desain gambar dan teks yang disesuaikan bagi pembaca dengan tujuan untuk mempermudah dan bisa dimengerti. Kata Kunci : Buku ilustrasi harimau Sumatera, buku cerita anak
