Abstract

This study discusses the use of Instagram social media as a learning medium for photography on the @antonn.sky account. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of Instagram as a means of teaching photography on the @antonn.sky account. This research method uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Meanwhile, data collection techniques are observation, interviews, library research and documentation. The technique of testing the validity of the data uses the credibility technique with the method of triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. Technical analysis of data using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the use of Instagram social media has utilized Instagram as a learning tool well. Instagram's features are almost entirely used for learning photography. The obstacles faced in using Instagram as a learning medium are the mindset of many people who think that a good tool can produce good photos, many questions are asked repeatedly, the differences between the tools learned and the ones they have, then some obstacles caused by the internet network. , or providers. This research also found a solution to some of the obstacles experienced, namely, users should be able to understand first without having to ask the same thing. And also related to the differences in the tools studied can be overcome by looking for the same reference with the tools they have. Keywords: Use, Media, Social, Instagram, Learning, Photography. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai Penggunaan Media Sosial Instagram sebagai Media Pembelajaran Fotografi Pada Akun @antonn.sky . Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan Instagram sebagai sarana pembeajaran fotografi pada akun @antonn.sky. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sedangkan, teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, riset kepustakaan dan dokumentasi. Teknik penguji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik kredibilitas dengan metode triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu. Teknis analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Penggunaan media sosial Instagram telah memanfaatkan Instagram sebagai sarana pembelajaran dengan baik. Fitur-fitur Instagram hampir seluruhnya dimanfaatkan untuk meraih pembelajaran fotografi. Hambatan yang dihadapi dalam penggunaan media sosial Instagram sebagai media pembelajaran adalah mindset banyak orang yang berfikir bahwa alat yang bagus dapat menghasilkan foto yang bagus, banyak pertanyaan yang dilontarkan secara berulang, perbedaan alat yang dipelajari dengan yang dimiliki, kemudian beberapa kendala yang disebabkan oleh jaringan internet, ataupun provider. Penelitian ini juga mendapatkan solusi dari beberapa hambatan yang dialami yakni, seharusnya pengguna bisa memahami terlebih dahulu tanpa harus menanyakan hal yang sama. Dan juga terkait pada perbedaan alat yang di pelajari dapat diatasi dengan mencari referensi yang sama dengan alat yang dimiliki.
