Abstract

Wardrobe is very disturbing and narrows residential space, especially studio type housing, the phenomenon that occurs is the need for space to hang clothes which makes the dimensions of the wardrobe bigger and the hanging clothes space in the wardrobe is still needed because there are several types of clothes that are needed neatly for event needs. formal and special occasions. There have been several efforts that have been made to solve the problem of wardrobes that narrow the space, including reducing the dimensions of the wardrobe and arranging a more efficient bulkhead position in the wardrobe, but these efforts are not efficient because reducing the dimensions of the wardrobe means making clothes storage space limited. This design aims to create a wardrobe that does not narrow the studio type residential space and keeps the storage space efficient in storing clothes by using a case study design method of similar products and determining the design elements used as the main foundation of the design, paying attention to user characteristics in terms of demographics, psychographics , geography and habits and a detailed explanation of the types of clothes and sizes stored in the wardrobe, determine the effective position of the wardrobe in the room accompanied by a movement mechanism that makes it easy to pick up clothes with a locking mechanism that is easy for users to use and an efficient arrangement of shelves that can store clothes to the max. Keywords: Wardrobe, Clothes, Adjustable, Space, Narrow Lemari Pakaian sangat mengganggu dan mempersempit ruang hunian khususnya hunian tipe studio, fenomena yang terjadi adalah kebutuhan ruang untuk menggantung pakaian yang membuat dimensi lemari pakaian menjadi lebih besar dan ruang pakaian gantung pada lemari pakaian tetap dibutuhkan karena adanya beberapa jenis pakaian yang dibutuhkan rapi untuk kebutuhan acara formal dan acara tertentu. Ada beberapa upaya yang telah dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan lemari pakaian yang mempersempit ruangan dianataranya adalah dengan memperkecil dimensi lemari dan menyusun posisi sekat yang lebih efisien pada lemari, tapi upaya tersebut tidak efisien karena memperkecil dimensi lemari pakaian artinya membuat ruang penyimpanan pakaian menjadi terbatas. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk membuat lemari pakaian yang tidak mempersempit ruang hunian tipe studio dan membuat ruang penyimpanan tetap efisien dalam menyimpan pakaian dengan menggunakan metode perancangan studi kasus produk sejenis dan melakukan penetapan unsur desain digunakan sebagai fondasi utama perancangan, memperhatikan karakteristik pengguna dari segi demogafi, psikografi, geografi dan kebiasaan dan penjelasan detail mengenai jenis pakaian dan ukuran yang disimpan dalam lemari pakaian, menetapkan posisi lemari pakaian yang efektif dalam ruangan disertai dengan mekanisme gerak yang mempermudah mengambil pakaian dengan mekanisme penguncian yang mudah untuk digunakan oleh pengguna dan efisiensi susunan rak yang dapat menyimpan pakaian dengan batas maksimal.
