Abstract

ABSTRAK film adalah hasil cipta karya seni yang memiliki berbagai unsur seni untuk melengkapi kebutuhan yang bersifat spiritual. Sehingga, dalam pembuatan film cerita, harus melalui proses pemikiran dan proses teknis, yakni berupa pencarian ide dan gagasan cerita. Sedangkan proses teknisnya berupa keterampilan artistik untuk mewujudkan segala ide, gagasan atau cerita agar menjadi film yang siap ditonton. Film pendek ini menayangkan sebuah karya film pendek fiksi bergenre Fantasi dan Drama dengan menceritakan latar belakang antara hubungan kedekatan ayah dan anak lakilaki, karena pada faktanya di Indonesia hubungan anak laki-laki akan lebih erat pada seorang ibu. Film ini menceritakan seorang anak laki-laki yang mencari bapaknya di alam yang tak sama. Berdasarkan karya dan proses pembuatan skripsi aplikatif produksi film pendek yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa: pada saat proses pembuatan drama film pendek “Perihal Pulang Pergi” penulis sebagai editor telah melewati beberapa proses mulai dari pra produksi, produksi, dan pasca produksi. Bagaimana mengembangkan konsep editing dan menambah wawasan penulis terhadap ilmu editing. Kata kunci: Film Pendek, Penyunting Gambar. ABSTRACT Film is the result of a work of art that has various elements of art to complement spiritual needs. Thus, in making a story film, one must go through a thought process and a technical process, namely the search for ideas and story ideas. While the technical process is in the form of artistic skills to realize all ideas, ideas or stories so that they become films that are ready to be watched. This short film shows a fictional short film of the Fantasy and Drama genre by telling the background between the close relationship between a father and a son, because in fact in Indonesia, the relationship between a son is closer to a mother. This film tells of a boy who is looking for his father in a different world. Based on the work and the process of making an applicative short film production thesis, it can be concluded that: during the process of making the short film drama "Perihal Go home" the writer as an editor has gone through several processes ranging from preproduction, production, and post-production. How to develop the concept of editing and add insight to the author's knowledge of editing. Keyword : Short Films, Image Editor.
