Abstract

The documentary Sexy Killer is a well-packaged political knowledge tool. This film tells the political situation in which the environmental, social and economic problems in the management of coal mining. Where in the process, both from the production process, distribution to the management of electricity resources, it cannot be separated from various conflicts, especially political conflicts. This study aims to find out what political conflicts occur in the documentary sexy killer. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach, where qualitative media content analysis is mostly used to examine documents that can be in the form of text, images, symbols and so on to understand the culture of a particular social context. The results of this study are the implementation of the law does not go well even though there are environmental law regulations in Indonesia. In addition, political conflicts also occur between the community and the government. Conflicts that often occur are against government policies that are felt to be very burdensome for the community, where the community often bears the consequences arising from the construction of coal mines. Keywords: Documentary Film, Sexy Killer, Political Conflict Film Dokuementer Sexy Killer merupakan sebuah alat pengetahuan politik yang dikemas dengan baik. Film ini menceritakan situasi politik dimana dalam permasalahan lingkungan, sosial dan ekonomi pada pengelolaan pertambangan batu bara. Dimana dalam prosesnya baik dari proses produksi, distribusi hingga pengelolaan menjadi sumber daya listrik tidak lepas dari berbagai konflik, terlebih pada konflik politik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konflik politik apa saja yang terjadi pada film documenter sexy killer. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif deskriptif, dimana Analisis isi media kualitatif lebih banyak dipakai untuk meneliti dokumen yang dapat berupa teks, gambar, simbol dan sebagainya untuk memahami budaya dari suatu konteks sosial tertentu. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Implementasi hukum tidak berjalan dengan baik meskipun sudah ada peraturan hukum lingkungan di Indonesia. Selain itu konflik politik pun terjadi baik antara masyarakat dengan pemerintah. Konflik yang kerap terjadi adalah terhadap kebijakan pemerintah yang dirasa sangat memberatkan masyarakat, dimana masyarakat kerap menanggung akibat yang ditimbulkan dari adanya pembangunan tambang batu bara.
