Abstract
This aim study intends to knowing the image of single mother that have an intellectual disability kid. Meaningfulness life was required for the individual to continue life based on the difficulties or enjoyment that experienced. The subjects amount that found in this study consisted of 4 single mothers that obtained using purposive sampling technique. Research method in this study is qualitative method with case study type to get depth picture. So, collecting data technique that used is interview and observation. The significant others were required either to see the validity of the data. The results that obtained show that the three subjects are in a mature meaningful life, because they have forgotten the sadness of the death of their husband and more concerned about the importance of their child's independence. Meanwhile, Subject C began to relieve his trauma over the treatment of KDRT (Domestic Violence) from his ex-husband and was more concerned with taking care of his two children. All four subject now already accepted all circumstances and conditions that experienced by them and convinced themselves to remain strong in facing their lives. Keywords: Meaningfulness Life, Single Mother, Intellectual Disability Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui gambaran kebermaknaan hidup ibu tunggal yang memiliki dengan disabilitas intelektual. Kebermaknaan hidup diperlukan bagi individu dalam melanjutkan kehidupan berdasarkan kesulitan atau kesenangan yang dialami. Jumlah subjek yang terdapat pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 ibu tunggal yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan tipe studi kasus untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang mendalam. Maka, teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah wawanacara dan observasi. Significant others juga diperlukan untuk melihat keabsahan data. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa, ketiga subjek sudah berada pada kebermaknaan hidup yang matang, karena sudah melupakan kesedihan dari meninggalnya suami dan lebih memikirkan kepentingan kemandirian anaknya. Sedangkan, Subjek C mulai menghilangkan rasa traumanya atas perlakuan KDRT dari mantan suaminya dan lebih mementingkan merawat kedua anaknya. Keempat subjek kini sudah menerima segala keadaan dan kondisi yang dialami mereka dan meyakinkan diri mereka untuk tetap kuat menghadapi kehidupannya.
