Abstract
The reading interest of the general public, especially students, can be said to be quite low. One of the factors that cause low interest in reading is the less of procurement books until adequate facilities for reading and seeking information. In designing the interior, the research uses qualitative methods to determine the condition of the problems that exist in The Public Library Of Bogor Regency and the community environment. The purpose of research The Public Library Of Bogor Regency is to be able to develop knowledge about the interior design of libraries and facilities of the library in order to develop educational aspects. The theme chosen for the design of The Public Library Of Bogor Regency is Fun Reading. This theme was proposed with the hope of attracting interest in reading and attracting people's attention to always visit the library. Interior design will always follow the times, therefore during the Covid-19 pandemic, the design of the library must also adjust so that it can help prevent the spread of Covid-19. The expected result of this research is that it can be published in the FDSK student journal at Mercu Buana University. Keywords: Interest Of Reading, Library, Fun Reading, Covid-19 Minat baca masyarakat umum terutama pelajar dapat dikatakan cukup rendah. Salah satu faktor yang mengakibatkan rendahnya minat baca yaitu kurangnya pengadaan buku hingga fasilitas untuk membaca dan mencari informasi. Dalam merancang interior, penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk mengetahui kondisi permasalahan yang ada di Perpustakaan Umum Kabupaten Bogor serta lingkungan masayarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian Perpustakaan Umum Kabupaten Bogor ini ialah dapat mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan tentang desain interior perpustkaan serta fasilitas perpustakaan guna membangun aspek pendidikan. Tema yang dipilih untuk perancangan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Bogor adalah Fun Reading. Tema ini diusulkan dengan harapan dapat menarik minat baca dan menarik perhatian masyarakat agar selalu berkunjung ke perpustakaan. Perancangan interior akan selalu mengikuti zaman yang ada, maka dari itu pada masa pandemik Covid-19, perancangan pada perpustakaan pun harus menyesuaikan agar dapat membantu untuk mencegah penyebaran Covid-19. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah bisa terpublikasikannya pada jurnal mahasiswa FDSK di Universitas Mercu Buana. Kata Kunci: Minat Baca, Perpustakaan, Fun Reading, Covid-19
