Abstract

Aktivitas Public Relations menjadi elemen utama sebagai upaya untuk menjaga citra dan membangun identitas perusahaan ketika saat terkena dalam kondisi krisis seperti pada masa pandemi COVID-19 saat ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dimana penelitian ini menggambarkan bagaimana aktivitas yang dijalankan public relations pada masa pandemi. Menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan dalam menganalisa data. Hasil yang dicapai dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas yang dilakukan oleh public relations dapat dikatakan berhasil. Seluruh informan atau penerima pesan memahami setiap informasi yang disampaikan dan mampu menjalankan dengan baik. Aktivitas public relations Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center yang dilakukan pada masa pandemi adalah dengan menawarkan special offer, membuat konten mengenai protokol kesehatan yang diterapkan, memanfaatkan social media, menjalin hubungan baik dengan media massa, Public Relations activities are the main element in an effort to maintain the image and build a corporate identity when exposed to crisis conditions such as during the current COVID-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, where this study describes how the activities carried out by public relations during the pandemic. Using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions in analyzing data. The results achieved from this study indicate that the activities carried out by public relations can be said to be successful. All informants or recipients of the message understand every information conveyed and are able to run it well. Aston Madiun Hotel & Conference Center's public relations activities carried out during the pandemic were by offering special offers, creating content regarding the health protocols applied, utilizing social media, establishing good relations with the mass media, involving community participation, and conducting internal & external activities.
