Abstract

ABSTRACT This study is performed to examine the effect of Current Ratio, Total Asset Turnover, Debt to Asset Ratio, Sales, and Size to Return On Asset (ROA) in PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). This objective of this study is to scale and analyze the effect of the companies financial ratios performance (Current Ratio, Total Asset Turnover, Debt to Asset Ratio, Sales and Size) toward ROA in PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) over period 2009 – 2014. The analysis technique used here is multiple regression with the least square difference and hypothesis test using t-statistic to examine regression coefficient and f-statistic to examine the mean of mutual effect with level significance 5%. In addition, classical assumption is also performed including normality test, multicolinearity test, heteroscedasity test and autocorrelation test. Descriptif analysis showed the mean of ROA of 0.028 times, minimum of 0.006 times occurred during the first quarter of 2014 and maximum turnover of 0.055 times and times and took place during the fourth quarter of 2012. Results of analysis variables simultaneously CR, TATO, DAR, Sales and Size with the F-statistic with a significance level of 0,000006 to the standard 95% confidence showed that variables CR, TATO, DAR, Sales and Size together influential and significant on ROA. The analysis showed that the variable Total Asset Turnover, Sales,and Size with a standard 95% confidence partially influence and significant impact on ROA, while variable Current Ratio and DAR with a standard 95% confidence partially shows the results of the two does not significantly influence the company's ROA PT.
