Abstract
ABSTRAK Teknologi saat ini semakin maju seiring berkembangnya zaman. Media sosial merupakan salah satu kemajuan teknologi. Namun, perkembangan teknologi yang begitu pesat, masih banyak disalahgunakan untuk perbuatan yang dapat merugikan orang lain. Film ini menceritakan seorang mahasiswa yang menyalahgunakan media sosial tidak sebagaimana semestinya. Dalam film ini terdapat 4 karakter utama yaitu Abay, Rama, Anton, dan Kipli. Abay memiliki keterbelakangan mental, Rama, Anton dan Kipli memanfaatkankan kekurangan Abay sebagai bahan candaan untuk diupload ke media sosial mereka dengan tujuan menjadi terkenal. Penulis akan menggunakan teknik continuity editing yang akan digunakan pada saat proses editing. Proses editing ini dilakukan dengan menggabungkan shot satu dengan shot yang lainnya agar berkesinambungan. Social media is one of the technological advancements. However, technological developments are so rapid, there are still many misused for actions that can harm others. This film tells that a student who abuses social media is not as he should. In this film there are 4 main characters namely Abay, Rama, Anton, and Kipli. Abay has mental retardation, Rama, Anton and Kipli use Abay's shortcomings as a joke to upload to their social media with the aim of becoming famous. The author will use the continuity editing technique that will be used during the editing process. The editing process is done by combining one shot with another shot so that it is continuous.
