Abstract
Experience of Dependence on Former Drug Abusers Putri Rahayu Wulandari, S.Psi, M.Psi, Psikolog. Rulita Hapsari Mercu Buana University [email protected] This study aims to understand the description of the experience of dependence former drug abusers, using qualitative methods with a phenomenological approach. In-depth interviews were conducted with three participants. The results of this study consisted of five themes which were life before abusing drugs, the process of drug abuse, experience of dependence, self-regulation, and life as a former drug abuser. The three participants interpreted their experience as something that strengthened them, even though it caused feelings of sadness and regret for two participants. Rulita Hapsari Universitas Mercu Buana [email protected] ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami gambaran pengalaman ketergantungan mantan penyalahguna narkoba, menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi.Wawancara mendalam dilakukan dengan tiga orang partisipan. Hasil penelitian ini terdiri dari lima tema yaitu kehidupan sebelum menyalahgunakan narkoba, proses penyalahgunaan narkoba, pengalaman ketergantungan, regulasi diri, kehidupan sebagai mantan penyalahguna narkoba. Ketiga partisipan memaknai pengalamannya sebagai sesuatu yang menguatkan mereka, meskipun menimbulkan perasaan sedih dan menyesal pada dua partisipan Kata kunci: Narkoba, Mantan penyalahguna narkoba
