Abstract

By the globalization era and the rapid knowledge and technology developments, especially in the medical studies. The Cilegon city Regional Hospital has a responsibility to give the best service to the peoples in the maximum quality. To have this objectives done, it is necessary for the Cilegon city Regional General Hospital to be supported by the hospital management and human resources, because it is influenced by the management or the leadership and the dedication of paramedics serving peoples. The objective of this research is to know how much the influence of the leadership effectiveness of the head of the outpatient installation unit and the dedication of the paramedic against the quality of the health service. The data are taken from the outpatient installation and the characteristic of the paramedics in the outpatient instillation. The methods used in this research is a cross sectional approach. The result of this research shows that there is an influence of the leadership effectiveness of the head of the outpatient installation and the dedication of the paramedics and it gives contributions of 50% to the health service quality variable. Ditengah era globalisasi dan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang sangat pesat khususnya di bidang kedokteran, sejalan dengan hal tersebut maka Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Cilegon dituntut untuk memberikan pelayanan kesehatan bagi masyarakat secara maksimal. Untuk melaksanakan hal tersebut maka perlu didukung dengan manajemen dan kinerja sumber daya manusia rumah sakit, karena hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh manajemen atau kepemimpinan dan kinerja paramedik dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh efektivitas kepemimpinan kepala instalasi dan kinerja paramedik terhadap mutu pelayanan kesehatan. Data yang diolah berasal dari instalasi rawat jalan serta karakteristik paramedik yang bertempat di instalasi tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penilitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analis korelatif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh efektivitas kepemimpinan kepala instalasi rawat jalan dan kinerja paramedik secara bersama- sama memberikan kontribusi sebesar 58 % kepada variabel mutu pelayanan kesehatan.
