Abstract

The risk of a potentially disruptive activities supply chain on company should be managed with alright and appropriate management strategies for avoid the risk can be a delivery delays and could even be fined, even the company could lose competitiveness. High of inventory levels is one of the risks that exist in the supply chain, as happened in this transformer manufacturer. The companies must manage risks appropriately and correctly. One method of processing risk in the supply chain is the House of Risk (HOR). HOR is develop method from HOQ and FMEA, HOR method dividing into two stages, first identifying the risks, analysis of risks and obtain sources of risk that most influence on the risk of using Pareto diagram, stage two determines the action of proactive risk by taking into number of the effectiveness and level of difficulty, to obtain effective proactive action to avoid risks. By using this method the company can identifying 20 a risks that could lead to the risk of high levels of inventory, as well 31 known sources of risk and 15 sources of risk that need to be prioritized. From the analysis of these methods also obtained 22 proactive action that is useful for companies to avoid the risk of high levels of inventory, from this result a companies can get a better competitive edge and customer can more expected to the company.
