Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of human resource planning and career development on employee performance. This research was conducted at the Institution of Research and Development, Education and Training, and Information (Balilatfo) located in Jakarta. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents. The analytical method used is descriptive quantitative method with multiple linear regression approach. These results indicate that human resource planning and career development partially and simultaneously influence on employee performance. The result of partial test (t test) showed that HR planning and career development has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. The results of the F simoultant test, showed that all independent variables has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Keyword : HR planning , career, career development, and employee performance. ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh perencanaan SDM dan pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan, Pendidikan dan Pelatihan, dan Informasi (Balilatfo) yang berlokasi di Jakarta. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan uji regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perencanaan SDM dan pengembangan karir secara parsial dan simultan berpengaruh pada kinerja pegawai. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil uji parsial (uji t) menunjukan bahwa perencanaan SDM dan pengembangan karir memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hasil penelitian secara simultan dengan menggunakan uji F, menunjukan bahwa semua variabel bebas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kata kunci : perencanaan SDM, karir, pengembangan karir, kinerja pegawai.
