Abstract

This research reviewed the influence of organizational communication, and leadership style on job satisfaction of employees, with the company's organizational culture as a moderate variable. Population in this study were all employees of the insurance company PT Kobexindo, Tbk in Jakarta, with a total sample of 102 employees. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. Management of data used LISREL 8.7 software, and this study using structural equation model (SEM). Furthermore, this research analyzed the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable, both influence directly, or indirectly. The results of this research indicate that organizational communication and leadership styles affect the organizational culture, organizational communication effect on job satisfaction, whereas transformational leadership style has no effect on job satisfaction. Organizational communication and leadership styles affect satisfaction with organizational culture as a mediating variable. Through the above results, it should be a matter of concern for the leadership of the company in organizational communication and determine the appropriate leadership style to organizational culture, as this will have implications on employee satisfaction. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui kaitan antara komunikasi organisasi, kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi terhadap terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan perusahaan asuransi PT. Kobexindo, Tbk di Jakarta. Di teliti sebanyak 102 karyawan yang dijadikan sampel penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan Structural equation model (SEM) pengolahan data dengan Lisrel 8.7. dianalisis t- value untuk mengetahui variabel pengaruh variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen, baik pengaruh secara langsung, maupun tidak langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komunikasi organisasi, kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh terhadap budaya organisasi. Komunikasi berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja. Kepemimpinan transformasional tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja, komunikasi, dan kepemimpinan mempengaruhi kepuasan dengan budaya organisasi sebagai variable mediasi. Melalui hasil penelitian di atas perlu menjadi bahan perhatian bagi pimpinan perusahan dalam melakukan komunikasi dan kepemimpinan yang sesuai dengan karyawan, karena hal ini memberikan efek pada budaya dan kepuasan kerja karyawan, dengan demikian akan memberikan pengaruh pada peningkatan kinerja karyawan.
