Abstract

ABSTRAK PT XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan perakitan sepeda motor, dalam proses produksinya bekerjasama dengan supplier sebagai penyedia komponen/part sepeda motor. Tahapan produksi diawali dengan proses distribusi drawing kepada supplier. Drawing berisi spesifikasi, design, dan informasi terkait komponen/part yang akan diproduksi. Proses distribusi drawing melibatkan beberapa Departemen yang berbeda. Untuk memastikan kelancaran proses distribusi drawing, maka diperlukan informasi status pendistribusiannya. PT. XYZ memiliki sistem informasi, namun masih berjalan terpisah. Hal ini menimbulkan masalah ketidakefektifan pemanfaatannya dan terjadi duplikasi data. Masalah terjadi karena pengelolaan data serah terima drawing belum terintegrasi dengan baik dan terjadinya redundansi input data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merekayasa ulang sistem monitoring status distribusi drawing yang terintegrasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah rekayasa ulang bisnis proses dengan prinsip pengintegrasian sistem. Kerangka kerja pengembangan sistem terintegrasi dilakukan dengan SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle). Hasil rekayasa ulang sistem pada proses serah terima dokumen adalah menghilangkan pemborosan waktu akibat pengolahan dan pencarian data, menghilangkan redundansi pengolahan data, dan mengurangi tahapan pencarian data sebelumnya 6 tahapan menjadi 1 tahapan. Kata Kunci : Rekayasa Ulang, Sistem Monitoring, Sistem Integrasi, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). ABSTRACT PT XYZ is one of the motorcycle company, which production process in cooperation with suppliers as a provider of components/parts of motorcycles. Production phase begins with the drawing distribution process to suppliers. Drawing contains specifications, design, and related information components/parts will to be produced. The drawing distribution process involves several different departments. To ensure the fluency of the drawing distribution process, it is necessary information distribution status. PT. XYZ has an information system, but still proceed separately. This condition generate problem of ineffectiveness of utilization and duplication of data. Problem occurs data management of drawing distribution has not been integrated and redundancy of data input. This research aims to reengineering of drawing monitoring distribution status by integrated data. The method used in this research is business process reengineering with the principle of system integration. The integrated system development framework is done with SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle). The result of system reengineering in the document handover process is to eliminate the waste of time due to processing and searching data, eliminating redundancy of data processing, and reducing the stages of data searching 6 stages into 1 stages.
