Abstract

ABSTRAK Perusahaan Komponen Otomotif merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi komponen kendaraan bermotor roda empat khususnya pada sistem pegkondisi udara (Air Conditioner). Kondisi saat ini, salah satu proses produksi yaitu pipa hisap masih menghasilkan rasio cacat lebih dari batas ketentuan perusahaan sebesar 1,60% selama tahun 2019. Perusahaan dirasa perlu melakukan pengendalian kualitas agar rasio cacat setiap bulan tetap berada dibawah batas standard. Kombinasi PFMEA dan PCDA dirasa tepat untuk diadaptasi sebagai metode perbaikan kualitas. Metode PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effect Analisys) dipilih karena dirasa cocok untuk mengevaluasi kondisi cacat saat ini, menentukan akar permasalaha serta menentukan prioritas perbaikan melalui perhitungan nilai RPN (Risk Priority Number). Sedangkan metode PDCA berisikan tahapan – tahapan yang lengkap untuk perbaikan mulai dari perencanaan, implementasi, analisa hasil, hingga standarisasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya penurunan rasio cacat dari 1,83% menjadi 1,54% setiap bulanya. Kata Kunci: Kualitas, Pipa hisap, PFMEA, RPN, PDCA ABSTRAK Perusahaan Komponen Otomotif is a company that produces four-wheeled motor vehicle components, especially in Air Conditioning systems. Current condition, one of the production processes, namely the suction pipe, still produces a defect ratio of more than the company stipulated limit of 1.60% during 2019. The company is deemed necessary to carry out quality control so that the monthly defect ratio remains below the standard limit. The combination PFMEA and PCDA were deemed appropriate to be adapted as quality improvement methods. The PFMEA (Process Failure Mode & Effect Analysis) method was chosen because it is considered suitable for evaluating the current defect condition, determining the root of the problem and determining the priority for improvement through the calculation of the RPN (Risk Priority Number) value. While the PDCA method contains complete steps for improvement starting from planning, implementation, analysis of results, to standardization. The results showed a decrease in the defect ratio from 1.83% to 1.54% per month. Keywords: Quality, Suction pipe, PFMEA, RPN, PDCA
