Abstract

Rope fiber bast teureup is one of the materials could be made of the potential for a wide range of needs, however this material existence is still inferior to similar materials such as rattan, water hyacinth, and the stem of the pisan who has widely used over the counter. Rope fiber bast baduy community teureup menyubutnya with RARA, a rope fiber bast teureup can have the same opportunity with rattan and the like. In this case I am inspired to mengeksplorasinya with the baduy's culture of lebak banten. Indonesia is a country that is in anugrahi with cultural diversity therein. Indonesia is one of the countries that has a wealth of l.a.p.d. alternative with his use of color then Indonesia can appear, therefore we have to take advantage of this biodiversity natural resources that are utilized for a variety of meet the needs of human beings. Each area that exists in Indonesia has its own characteristic in the processing of natural resources. One of these natural resources processing hayati be plants into products with manfaakan material teureup tree bark. One of them can strengthen the value of a strong local element with the use of this material. This exploration is focused on material that is teureup tree bark fibers and exploration on macrame was chosen because it has the principle equation with a woven product in a bag of various spices. The product of this Chair was chosen because the material the rope fiber bast teureup this has the power and the potential for alternative fiber ropes and rattan tree bark teureup there has never been made into a Chair. Keywords: Macrame, tree bark fibers are applied to typical teureup, Chair Tali serat kulit pohon teureup adalah salah satu material potensi untuk dapat dijadikan berbagai macam kebutuhan, namun material ini eksistensinya masih kalah dengan bahan sejenis seperti rotan, enceng gondok, dan pelepah pisan yang telah banyak digunakan dipasaran. Tali serat kulit pohon teureup masyarakat baduy menyubutnya dengan RARA, tali serat kulit pohon teureup dapat memiliki kesempatan yang sama dengan rotan dan sejenisnya. Dalam hal ini saya terinspirasi untuk mengeksplorasinya dengan budaya baduy lebak banten. Indonesia merupakan suatu negara yang di anugrahi dengan keanekaragaman budaya didalamnya. Indonesia merupakan salah satu Negara yang memiliki kekayaan begitupula dengan alternative-nya dengan mengunakannya maka warna Indonesia bisa muncul, maka dari itu kita harus manfaatkan sumber daya alam hayati ini yang beranekaragam yang dimanfaatkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan manusia. Setiap daerah yang ada di Indonesia memiliki ciri khas tersendiri dalam mengolah sumber daya alam. Salah satunya mengolah sumber daya alam hayati berupa tumbuh-tumbuhan menjadi produk dengan manfaakan material kulit pohon teureup. Salah satunya bisa menguatkan unsur nilai local yang kuat dengan menggunakan material ini. Eksplorasi ini terfokus pada material yaitu serat kulit pohon teureup dan eksplorasi pada macrame dipilih karena memiliki persamaan prinsip dengan anyaman produk pada tas koja. Produk kursi ini dipilih karena material tali serat kulit pohon teureup ini memiliki kekuatan dan berpotensial untuk alternatif rotan dan tali serat kulit pohon teureup belum pernah ada yang buat menjadi produk kursi.
