Abstract

ABSTRAK Bracket R/L Inner merupakan salah satu komponen pada sepeda motor yang memiliki fungsi sebagai tempat tumpuan standar dua. Dalam proses pengerjaanya, masih ditemukan kecacatan pada produk, yang membuktikan pengendalian kualitas produk masih rendah. Untuk mengurangi penyebab cacat, maka dilakukan analisa penyebab kecacatan dan melakukan usulan perbaikan. Setelah melakukan analisa menggunakan metode Statistical Process Control (SPC), data yang digunakan pada periode Januari samapai Desember 2019, ditemukan jenis cacat yang paling tinggi adalah Lobang Collar Tidak Center dengan persentase 37,66%. Faktor yang mempengaruhi jenis cacat Lobang Collar Tidak Center adalah faktor manusia, mesin, material, dan metode. Dari empat faktor tersebut, faktor mesin dan metode menjadi faktor yang paling dominan. Faktor mesin disebabkan karena permukaan jig miring, kemudian faktor metode disebabkan karena pemasangan jig tidak presisi. Usulan perbaikan dengan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) permukaan jig miring adalah sebesar 196, dan nilai RPN pemasangan jig tidak presisi sebesar 280. Kemudian usulan perbaikan yang diberikan adalah membuat jadwal perawatan yang rutin untuk faktor permukaan jig miring per 8.000 press. Untuk pemasangan jig tidak presisi dibuatkan alat bantu berupa stopper pada jig agar presisi. In the process of working, defects were still found in the product, which proved that product quality control was still low. To reduce the causes of defects, an analysis of the causes of disability is carried out and make suggestions for improvements. After analyzing using the Statistical Process Control (SPC), the data used in the period January to December 2019, it was found that the type of defect that was the highest was not center collar hole with a percentage of 37.66%. Factors affecting the type of centerless collar hole defects are human factors, machines, materials, and methods. Of the four factors, machine and method factors are the most dominant. The machine factor is due to the tilted jig surface, then the method factor is due to imprecise jig installation. Proposed improvements using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). The Risk Priority Number (RPN) value of the inclined jig surface is 196, and the RPN value for imprecise jig installation is 280. Then the proposed improvement is to make a routine maintenance schedule for the inclined jig surface factor per 8,000 press. For imprecise jig installation, a tool is made in the form of a stopper on the jig for precision.
