Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan pada salah satu plan perusahaan dari PT. Indofod CBP Sukses Makmur – Packaging Division yakni plan cylinder making dimana plan ini memproduksi cylinder atau acuan cetak untuk proses printing pada flexible packaging. Belum ada metode khusus dalam usaha peningkatan produktivitas pada station kerja proofing. Namun, dalam sebuah pengabilan data yang dilakukan perusahaan ditemukan tingginya pergerakan cylinder pada workstation proofing. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode SMED yaitu dengan memisahkan dua kegiatan yaitu internal setup dan external setup kemudian dilanjutkan dengan mengubah internal setup menjadi external setup sehingga mampu mengurangi waktu proses secara keseluruhan. Dari perbaikannya terjadi penurunan pada waktu SOT dari 635.40 (s) menjadi 369.4 (s), waktu normal sebesar 698.94 (s) menjadi 406.34 (s) dan waktu baku sebesar 891.1 (s) menjadi 518.08 (s). Dalam persentase total terjadi penurunan sebesar 41.8%. Dalam sehari proses proof bisa terdapat peningkatan dari 85 cylinder menjadi 146 cylinder. Hal ini bisa terjadi setelah dilakukan re-layout ruangan proofing serta pengeleminasian beberapa proses proofing. Kata Kunci: SMED, Fishbone, SOT, Proofing ABSTRACT This study conducted on one company plan from PT. Indofod CBP Sukses Makmur - Packaging Division, which is a cylinder making plan where this plan produces cylinders or printed references for the printing process in flexible packaging. There is no specific method in the effort to increase productivity in the proofing work station. However, in a data retrieval conducted by the company, it was found that the movement of the cylinder was high at the proofing workstation. The method used in this study is the SMED method, namely by separating the two activities, namely the internal setup and external setup, then proceed with changing the internal setup to an external setup so as to reduce overall processing time. From the improvement there was a decrease in SOT time from 635.40 (s) to 369.40 (s), normal time was 698.94 (s) to 406.34 (s) and standard time was 891.10 (s) to 518.08 (s). In the total percentage there was a decrease of 41.8%. In one day the proof process can be increased from 85 cylinders to 146 cylinders. This can occur after re-layout of the proofing room and eliminating several proofing processes. Key Words: SMED, Fishbone, SOT, Proofing
