Abstract

Tesis ini membahas tentang bagaimana mengkontrol proses Crimping pada produksi Wiring Harness sebagai salah satu komponen otomotif dengan menggunakan alat Control Chart dan Distribusi Normal. Dalam pengamatannya ditemukan beberapa penyimpangan yang berdampak kualitas menjadi kurang baik / menurun, selanjutnya dilakukan perbaikan kualitas dengan menggunakan metode Six Sigma (DMAIC). Dimana dalam analisanya menggunakan alat Check Sheet, Diagram Pareto, dan Diagram Fishbone.Didapat beberapa ketidaksesuaian pada beberapa faktor proses produksi, diantaranya mesin : baut pada mesin shunk aplikator tidak kencang / kendor, metode : proses setting ulang aplikator apabila terjadi penyimpangan tidak pernah dilakukan, skill man power : operator tidak menguasai proses Crimping dan setting aplikator dengan benar.Dengan menggunakan metode Six Sigma tersebut, masalah pada proses Crimping dapat diselesaikan dengan melihat penurunan data cacat. Sehingga terjadi peningkatan kualitas sesuai yang diharapkan perusahaan dan pelanggan. Kata kunci : Proses Crimping, Kualitas, Six Sigma. This thesis, discuss about how to control Crimping Process in Wiring Harness Production as one component automotive by using “ Tools Control Chart and Normally distribution “. In this observation we found some deviation which impact with decreases quality. Then improvement quality doing by using Six Sigma Method ( DMAIC ).Where in analysis, using Tools Check Sheet, Pareto Diagram, Fishbone Diagram. We found some discrepancy in some Production Process Factor, including at machine : Bolt of shunk machine applicator has not tond / slack, method : The process of resetting applicator when there are deviations is never done, and man power skill : The operator does not control the process of Crimping and applicator setting correctly. With Six Sigma method, problems in Crimping process can be solved by decrease at Flawed Data. So, quality will increase according to expectations company and customers.
