Abstract

At the end of this final assignment will discuss the phenomenon of liquefaction. An earthquake is a natural disaster that can cause several disasters / phenomena and the impact of damage when an earthquake occurs. There are several disasters that will emerge when a large earthquake occurs, namely floods, landslides, fires, tsunami, and liquefaction. The occurrence of liquefaction is one of the impacts caused by a large earthquake. The phenomenon of liquefaction is a phenomenon that loses strength in the soil layer caused by earthquake vibrations and rising pore pressures so that soil changes become liquid, and the type of soil is sand that has poor gradation. Liquidation is an event where sand is saturated at a certain time during an earthquake experiencing a loss of shear strength as a result of increased pore water pressure. The phenomenon of liquefaction is currently one of the very interesting lessons because there are very few liquidity studies in the Jakarta area. So it is necessary to evaluate the potential liquefaction in the Jakarta area in several locations. To analyze the potential liquefaction in this thesis using several methods, namely NCEER Method, Seed Method, et al (1985), Youd-Idriss Method (2001), Tokimatsu-Yoshimi Method (1983) by comparing the values of Cyclic Stress Ratio (CSR) and Cylic Resistance Ratio (CRR) to get the value of the safety factor (Safety Factor (FS) With this research it is expected to know whether or not there is a potential liquefaction in the city. Liquidity occurs when the value of the safety factor is less than one. Evaluation of liquefaction potential uses Standard Penetration Test (SPT) data. Keyword: Liquefaction, Standart Penetration Test (SPT), Cyclic Stress Ratio (CSR) and Cylic Resistance Ratio (CRR), safety factor (Safety Factor (FS). Pada tuga Akhir ini akan membahas mengenai fenomena likuifaksi. Gempa bumi adalah bencana alam yang dapat memunculkan beberapa bencana/fenomena dan dampak kerusakan ketika terjadinya gempa bumi. Ada beberapa bencana yang akan muncul ketika terjadinya gempa bumi yang besar yaitu, banjir, longsor, kebakaran, tsunami, dan likuifaksi. Terjadinya likuifaksi merupakan salah satu dampak yang diakibatkan oleh gempa bumi besar. Fenomena likuifaksi adalah merupakan fenomena yang hilangnya kekuatan pada lapisan tanah yang diakibatkan oleh getaran gempa bumi dan naiknya tekanan air pori sehingga terjadinya perubahan tanah menjadi cair, dan jenis tanahnya pasir yang memiliki gradasi buruk. Likuifaksi adalah suatu peristiwa dimana pasir jenuh pada suatu waktu tertentu selama terjadi gempa mengalami kehilangan kekuatan geser sebagai akibat dari pertambahan tekanan air pori. Fenomena likuifaksi saat ini menjadi salah satu pelajaran yang sangat menarik dikarenakan penelitian likuifaksi pada wilayah Jakarta sangat sedikit. Sehingga diperlukan evaluasi potensi likuifaksi pada wilayah Jakarta di beberapa lokasi. Untuk menganalisis potensi likuifaksi pada tugas akhir ini menggunakan beberapa metode yaitu Metode NCEER, Metode Seed, dkk (1985), Metode Youd-Idriss (2001), Metode Tokimatsu-Yoshimi (1983) dengan membandingkan antara nilai Cyclic Stress Ratio (CSR) dan Cylic Resistance Ratio (CRR) untuk mendapatkan nilai faktor keamanan (Safety Factor (FS) Dengan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengetahui terjadi atau tidak terjadinya potensi likuifaksi di kota tersebut. Terjadinya likuifaksi ketika nilai dari faktor keamanan kurang dari satu. Evaluasi potensi likuifaksi menggunakan data Standart Penetration Test (SPT).
