Abstract

ABSTRAK Pada era modern ini, perkembangan teknologi dalam bidang konstruksi terusmenerus mengalami peningkatan, khususnya bangunan yang menggunakan material baja. Adanya teknologi las listrik pada konstruksi baja, memungkinkan untuk pembuatan castellated beam (balok kastela) yang tujuannya meminimalisir penggunaan bahan baja. Dengan harga baja yang relatif harganya semakin meningkat, maka dengan menggunakan balok kastela dalam pelaksanaan konstruksi akan diperoleh suatu penghematan biaya. Penelitian ini penulis gunakan metode kuesioner dan tabulasi data. Pada kuesioner pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada staff-staff PT. XYZ. Data dianalisis dengan uji normalitas, uji validitas dan reliabilitas, analisis korelasi dan faktor, serta analisis regresi linear berganda. Tabulasi data dilakukan dengan menyajikan data kedalam bentuk tabel dan diagram untuk mempermudah pengamatan atau evaluasi Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor dan variabel dominan yang paling berpengaruh terhadap efektivitas penggunaan baja kastela pada biaya proyek yaitu Faktor Teknis yaitu Pola Lubang, dikarenakan Pola Lubang pada baja kastela akan menaikan efektifitas biaya sebesar 43,1%, selain itu ada faktor lain diantaranya mutu material tidak sesuai, kesalahan spesifikasi bahan, pola lubang, kapasitas beban , ukuran bentang, berat profil, kesalahan desain, jadwal pelaksanaan, metode pelaksanaan. Sementara itu hasil tabulasi data yang dilakukan didapatkan hasil yaitu selisih berat profil kastela yaitu 2786.97 kg dan untuk biaya didapatkan selisih Rp. 54.290.388 Maka dapat di lihat bahwa penggunaan baja kastela dalam pelaksanaan konstruksi dapat meminimalisir pembengkakan biaya .Dilihat dari hasil tersebut faktor yang memiliki efektifitas paling tinggi untuk mempengaruhi efektivitas penggunaan baja kastela terhadap biaya proyek adalah faktor teknis. Kata kunci : Efektifitas, castellated beam, biaya proyek, manajemen konstruksi. ABSTRACT In this modern era, the development of technology in the field of construction is constantly increasing, especially buildings that use steel materials. The existence of electric welding technology in steel construction, allows for the manufacture of castellated beams (blocks kastela) whose goal is to minimize the use of steel materials. With the price of steel is relatively increasing price, then by using beam kastela in construction implementation will be obtained a cost savings. This study authors use the method of questionnaires and tabulation of data. In the questionnaire data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to the staffs of PT. XYZ. Data were analyzed by normality test, validity and reliability test, correlation and factor analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. Tabulation of data is done by presenting the data into the form of tables and diagrams to facilitate the observation or evaluation. The result of this research shows that the dominant factor and variables that have the most influence on the effectiveness of the use of steel on the project cost ie Technical Factor is Hole Pattern, because Pattern Pattern on steel kastela will increase the cost effectiveness by 43,1%, besides there are other factors such as material quality not appropriate, material specification error, hole pattern, load capacity, span size, profile weight, design error, implementation schedule, implementation method. Meanwhile, the result of tabulation of data conducted got the result that is the difference of weight of profile kastela that is 2786.97 kg and for the cost obtained difference of Rp. 54.290.388. So it can be seen that the use of steel castellates in the construction implementation can minimize the cost of swelling. See from these results the factor that has the highest effectiveness to affect the effectiveness of the use of steel castellate to the cost of the project is a technical factor.
