Abstract

The emergence of new media (web) is a consequence of the development of information technology and communication itself. New media or online media offers its users as a medium that serves as a means of communication between humans unhindered by distance and time. Submission of information from the central government of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia to the Department of Education and / or School is one example of the use of the web as a medium of information delivery, because in the delivery of information required a media that can quickly convey information to audiences with the accuracy and kefesienan tall one. The researcher aims to analyze how much effectiveness of online media benefit (web) used by the Ministry of Education and Culture of RI in conveying information to High School located in the area that is expected to help give the idea in delivering that information. The sample of research is 95 respondents. The research method used is survey research method, by spreading the questionnaire randomly to the School Principal or School Staff located in the outermost / underdeveloped areas that handle and use the web application facility of Smart Indonesia Program. Data analysis method used in this research is quantitative analysis method. From the discussion of the research results obtained conclusion as follows: First, the process of communication using new media (website) can facilitate the delivery of data and information effectively and effectively based on the accuracy, speed of time and accuracy of data / information so it can be accounted for. Second, the effectiveness variables based on the results of respondents' answers and if statistical data included into the moderate category is 44.8%, where the effectiveness of the web sustainability of information absorption. Third, From the results of respondents' assessment of effectiveness indicators of the website, it can be seen that the effectiveness of the web on the absorption of information is influenced by other factors, namely the stability factor of internet network conditions in each region. Where the stability of network conditions in each region have an effect on accessing the website and the speed and ease of users / users in obtaining information / data. Keywords: Effectiveness, Website, Absorption Information Munculnya media baru (web) merupakan konsekuensi dari perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi itu sendiri. Media baru atau media online menawarkan kepada penggunanya sebagai media yang berfungsi sebagai sarana komunikasi antar manusia tanpa terhalang oleh jarak dan waktu. Penyampaian informasi dari pemerintahan pusat Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan RI kepada Dinas Pendidikan Daerah dan atau Sekolah adalah salah satu contoh dari pemanfaatan web sebagai media penyampaian informasi, karena dalam penyampaian informasi diperlukan sebuah media yang dapat dengan cepat dapat menyampaikan informasi kepada khalayak banyak dengan keakuratan dan kefesienan yang tinggi. Peneliti bertujuan menganalisis seberapa besar keefektifitasan manfaat media online (web) yang digunakan oleh Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan RI dalam menyampaikan informasi kepada Sekolah Menengah Atas yang terdapat di daerah yang diharapkan dapat membantu memberi gagasan dalam penyampaian informasi tersebut. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 95 responden. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survey, dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara random kepada Kepala Sekolah atau Staff Sekolah yang terdapat di daerah terluar/tertinggal yang menangani dan menggunakan fasilitas aplikasi web Program Indonesia Pintar. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis kuantitatif. Dari pembahasan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: Pertama, Proses komunikasi menggunakan media baru (website) dapat mempermudah penyampaian data dan informasi dengan efektif dan efektif berdasarkan ketepatan, kecepatan waktu dan keakuratan data/informasi sehingga dapat dipertanggungjawabkan. Kedua, Variabel efektifitas berdasarkan hasil jawaban responden dan olah data statistik termasuk ke dalam kategori moderat yaitu 44,8%, dimana efektifitas web berkesinambungan terhadap daya serap informasi. Ketiga, Dari hasil penilaian responden terhadap indikator-indikator efektfitas website, dapat diketahui bahwa efektifitas web terhadap daya serap informasi dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain, yaitu faktor kestabilan kondisi jaringan internet di masing-masing daerah. Dimana kestabilan kondisi jaringan di masing-masing daerah berpengaruh dalam mengakses website dan kecepatan serta kemudahan user/pengguna dalam mendapatkan informasi/data.
