Abstract

Vocational High School is one of the levels of education, which has job-ready competencies from each graduate. However, the high standard of competency required by industry has made the graduates to be underestimated. Departing from these problems, I am interested in contributing in terms of increasing the competency of vocational students so that they have competitiveness. The focus that I took in this activity was to share the knowledge of Television Program Production using the Studio System. The educational institution that I chose was the South Jakarta Media Informatics Vocational School on the grounds that there were problems in the school that I tried to present a solution for. The activity will take place on November 11-18, 2019 with the main agenda being pre-production seminar, studio system seminar, studio system equipment workshop and production simulation. The role of the author in the Final Project Concern for this Country is as a Technical Director where when giving the material the writer focuses on the tools that exist in television and build a TV studio system. So the participants already have the knowledge about what tools are commonly used in television and how to build a TV studio system. The results of the outcomes to be achieved are the students can understand conceptually how the production of television programs with a studio system, which is applied in a television program production process with a talkshow format entitled "Holiday Yuk!" where the program has a duration of 30 minutes with all participants as the crew on duty and the committee as program supervision until it runs smoothly. Keywords : Vocational High Schools, Workshops, Seminars, Broadcasting, Television, Program Production, Studio TV Systems, Talk Show Programs Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan salah satu tingkat pendidikan, yang memiliki kompetensi siap kerja dari setiap lulusannya. Tetapi, tingginya standar kompetensi yang dibutuhkan oleh industri, membuat lulusan SMK dipandang sebelah mata. Berangkat dari masalah tersebut, saya tertarik untuk memberikan kontribusi dalam hal meningkatkan kompetensi siswa SMK sehingga memiliki daya saing. Fokus yang penulis ambil dalam kegiatan ini adalah membagi ilmu Produksi Program Televisi dengan menggunakan Sistem Studio. Adapun lembaga pendidikan yang saya pilih adalah SMK Media Informatika Jakarta Selatan dengan alasan bahwa di sekolah tersebut terdapat masalah – masalah yang coba saya hadirkan solusinya. Kegiatan berlangsung pada tanggal 11 – 18 November 2019 dengan agenda utama yaitu seminar pra produksi, seminar sistem studio, workshop peralatan sistem studio dan eksekusi produksi program tv. Peran yang penulis lakukan pada Tugas Akhir Peduli Negeri ini adalah sebagai Pengarah Teknik dimana pada saat pemberian materi penulis menitik beratkan pada alat-alat yang ada pada pertelevisian dan membangun sistem studio tv. Sehingga para peserta sudah memiliki bekal pengetahuan tentang alat apa saja yang biasa digunakan di pertelevisian dan bagaimana caranya membangun sebuah sistem studio tv. Hasil luaran yang ingin dicapai adalah para siswa bisa memahami secara konsep bagaimana produksi program televisi dengan sistem studio, yang diaplikasikan dalam sebuah proses produksi program televisi dengan format talkshow yang diberi judul “Holiday Yuk!” dimana program tersebut memiliki durasi 30 menit dengan seluruh peserta sebagai crew yang bertugas dan panitia sebagai supervisi program hingga berjalan lancar.
