Abstract
Persons with disabilities have the same rights as non-disabled, no exception at work. Law number 8 of 2016 is made to regulate employment of persons with disabilities, equal opportunities and to realize a higher quality and fair standard of social life. The reality is that there is still a lot of discrimination against people with disabilities, as their facilities are used by non-disabled people or people with disabilities find it difficult to find work. The author is interested in this phenomenon and that also makes the writer choose the theme of disability for documentary films, the focus of the writer is the employment of persons with disabilities. In making this documentary, the writer seeks credible sources, including the Indonesian Ministry of Labor as a representative from the perspective of the government that makes policy, THISABLE Enterprise as a foundation for channeling work for people with disabilities, and Kopi Tuli is a representative with a disability who is capable of entrepreneurship and opens employment. for other disabilities. Keywords: Disability, Labor, Ministry of Labor, Thisable Enterprise, Kopi Tuli ¬ Penyandang disabilitas memiliki hak yang sama seperti non-disabilitas, tidak terkecuali dalam pekerjaan. Undang-Undang nomor 8 tahun 2016 dibuat untuk mengatur tentang ketenagakerjaan penyandang disabilitas, kesempatan yang sama serta mewujudkan taraf kehidupan sosial yang lebih berkualitas dan adil. Kenyataan yang terjadi adalah masih banyak diskriminasi terhadap penyandang disabilitas, seeperti fasilitas mereka yang digunakan oleh non-disabilitas ataupun para disabilitas sulit mendapat pekerjaan. Penulis tertarik dengan fenomena tersebut dan hal itu pula yang menjadikan penulis memilih tema disabilitas untuk pada film dokumenter, fokus penulis adalah ketenagakerjaan penyandang disabilitas. Dalam pembuatan film dokumenter ini penulis mencari narasumber yang memiliki kredibiltas, diantaranya terdapat Kementrian Ketenagakerjaan RI sebagai perwakilan dari perspektif pemerintah yang membuat kebijakan, THISABLE Enterprise sebagai yayasan penyalur kerja bagi penyadang disabilitas, dan Kopi Tuli merupakan pihak penyandang disabilitas yang mampu berwirausaha dan membuka lapangan kerja bagi disabilitas lain.
