Abstract
This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of transformational leadership and compensation as work motivation and its implementation on the employee performance of Logistic Department of Indonesia Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan). The research data used survey as primary data and performance and interview result as secondary data. The sampling method used saturated sampling, in which the 93 subjects for this study were taken from all employees in the Logistic Department of Indonesia Financial Services Authority. This study used analysis of structural equation (SEM) based on variants that can simultaneously perform measurement model testing and structural model in SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicated that transformational leadership has a positive effect on work motivation, compensation has a positive influences for work motivation, transformational leadership and compensation simultaneously have a positive influences for motivation, transformational leadership has a positive influences for employee performance, compensation does not have a significant influences for employee performance, motivation does not have a significant influences for employee performance, transformational leadership, compensation and motivation simultaneously have positive and significant influences for employee performance. Keywords : Transformational leadership, compensation, motivation and employee’s performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompensasi terhadap motivasi serta implementasinya terhadap kinerja pegawai Departemen Logistik Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Data penelitian merupakan data primer berupa survey, dan data sekunder berupa nilai kinerja serta hasil wawancara. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh, dimana subyek diambil dari seluruh karyawan di Departemen Logistik OJK sejumlah 93 orang. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan software SmartPLS yang merupakan analisis persamaan strukural (SEM) berbasis varian yang secara simultan dapat melakukan pengujian model pengukuran beserta pengujuan model struktural. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi, kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi, kepemimpinan transformasional dan kompensasi secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi, kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, kompensasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, serta kepemimpinan transformasional, kompensasi dan motivasi secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Kata kunci : Kepemimpinan transformasional, kompensasi, motivasi dan kinerja pegawai.
