Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengendalian persediaan bahan kimia di PT KLB direncanakan menggunakan metode pengendalian persediaan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Dengan sering terjadinya stockout pada bahan kimia menjadi permasalahan utama di laboratorium quality control. Persediaan bahan kimia yang besar tidak menjamin ketersediaan pada saat yang dibutuhkan, hal tersebut dapat menyebabkan terhambatnya proses analisa pada departemen quality control yang berpengaruh pada release produk menjadi terhambat dan menyebabkan kerugian pada perusahaan. Maka perlu dilakukannya cara yang tepat dalam pengendalian persediaan bahan kimia. Bahan kimia yang dikendalikan persediaannya yaitu toluene dan asam klorida diambil berdasarkan hasil klasifikasi ABC. Tujuannya menentukuan jumlah pemesanan yang ekonomis, total biaya persediaan,dan membandingkan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) dengan metode yang digunakan diperusahaan. Bahan kimia yang dikendalikan persediannya adalah toluene dan asam klorida. Total pemesanan yang ekonomis dengan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) yaitu setiap pemesanan toluene yaitu sebanyak 68 botol dan Asam klorida sebanyak 63 botol. Titik pemesanan kembali (Reorder point) pada bahan kimia toluene dan asam klorida pada saat persediaan stok di gudang penyimpanan sebanyak 63 botol untuk toluene dan 61 botol untuk asam klorida. Total biaya persediaan dengan metode EOQ ialah sebesar Rp 19,534,398.00 untuk toluene dan Rp 17,925,771.00 untuk asam klorida pertahun 2017. Kata kunci : Pengendalian Persedian,bahan kimia, EOQ,toluene, asam klorida ABSTRACT Chemical inventory control at PT KLB is planned to use the inventory control method Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). With the frequent occurrence of stockouts on chemicals, the main problem in quality control laboratories. Large inventory of chemicals does not guarantee availability when needed, it can cause delays in the analysis process in the quality control department which affects the release of the product to be hampered and causes losses to the company. Then it is necessary to do the right way to control the supply of chemicals. Chemicals that are controlled by inventory, namely toluene and hydrochloric acid are taken based on the ABC classification results. The goal is to determine the number of orders that are economical, the total cost of inventory, and compare the methods of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) with the method used in the company. Supply-controlled chemicals are toluene and hydrochloric acid. Economical total ordering with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, which is toluene orders as many as 68 bottles and 63 bottles of hydrochloric acid. Reorder point on toluene and hydrochloric chemicals when there are 63 bottles of stock in the storage warehouse for toluene and 61 bottles for hydrochloric acid.
