Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam proses penyimpanan dan perawatan kualitas bahan pangan di Badan Urusan Logistik, Penurunan kualitas bahan komoditi pangan terutama beras sering terjadi selama dalam penyimpanan, terutama bila pengelolahan dalam penyimpanan tidak dilakukan secara baik. Untuk menjaga beras dan biji-bijian dalam kondisi baik, BULOG perlu memperbaiki rencana kerjanya dalam hal perawatan stok dan kualitas, termasuk pembaharuan gudang-gudang dan fasilitas penyimpanan yang baru.Maka dari itu perlu di terapkanya evaluasi dalam hal manajemen kualitas,dengan memperbaiki secara terus-menerus terhadap kualitas produk, serta SDM yang ada, serta proses dan lingkungannya .perlunya strategi manajemen yang ditujukan untuk menanamkan kesadaran kualitas pada semua proses dalam organisasi.maka dari itu dengan di terapkanya manajemen kualitas yang baik menggunakan variable kaizen,quality control (QC) serta seven tools akan dapat di ketahui penyebab utama menurunya kualitas beras di gudang bulog , serta dapat segera di lakukanya perbaikan sistem manajemen kualitas pada proses penyimpanan beras di gudang bulog. Hingga dapat mewujudkan sistem manajemen kualitas yang handal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada beberapa faktor penyebab menurunya kualitas beras di gudang bulog antara lain faktor sumber daya manusia (SDM) ,metode perawatan,lingkungan gudang serta kedisiplinan pegawai terkait perawatan kualitas. Kata kunci : kaizen, standart perawatan beras, Quality control,seven tools ABSTRACT In the process of storing and maintaining quality food in BULOG, the decline in quality of food commodity materials, especially rice, often occurs during storage, especially if processing in storage is not done well. To keep rice and seeds in good condition, BULOG needs to improve the work plan regarding stock maintenance and quality, including the renewal of new warehouses and storage facilities. Then, it is necessary to implement evaluation regarding quality management, with the continued improvement of the quality of products, as well as existing HR, process, and environment. The management strategy is intended for instilling quality awareness on all processes in the organization. then the implementation of good quality management using the variables kaizen, quality control (QC) as well as seven tools will be able to know the main causes of the decline in the quality of rice in the Bulog warehouse, and can immediately do the quality management system improvement in the process of storing rice in the Bulog warehouse. So as to realize a reliable quality management system. The results showed that there were several factors causing the decline in the quality of rice in the National Logistics Agency including human resources (HR), maintenance methods, warehouse environment and employee discipline related to quality care.
