Abstract
Komunikasi humas PT. Elnusa Geosains adalah mutlak dibutuhkan karena sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang penyedia jasa survei dan seismik yang dilakukan diatas lahan milik masyarakat/swasta, baik di daerah perkotaan maupun di desa, perlu memiliki tenaga kehumasan yang memiliki ilmu tentang kehumasan dan inisiatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat sesuai visi/misi perusahaan dan perintahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tahapan strategi komunikasi humas PT.Elnusa Geosains. Pradigma penelitian ini adalah konstruktivisme dengan metode kualitatif serta menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus yang merupakan suatu penelitian sistimatis yang menyelidiki fenomena dalam konteks kehidupan nyata. Pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Dalam melakukan analisisnya peneliti menggunakan beberapa khalayak sasaran/stakeholder, menentukan tujuan komunikasi humas, merancang pesan dan menyeleksi saluran komunikasi, menetapkan anggaran dan hasil yang dicapai. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa Strategi Komunikasi humas yang telah diterapkan oleh humas PT.Elnusa Geosains sudah bagus, namun komunikasi kehumasan yang diimplementasikannya masih minim inisiatif dan kreatifitas maupun terpadu/terintegrasi, hal tersebut terjadi karena petugas humas dan staf humas dilapangan/humas lokal atau humas pendamping kurang memahami betapa pentingnya tugas kehumasan disamping itu juga minim keilmuaan tentang humas. Dalam aktifitas pelaksanaan tugas kehumasan masih belum terintegrasi dengan baik sehingga ada beberapa masalah yang muncul pada pelaksanaan pada kegiatan survei dan seismik yang dilakukan oleh perusahaan tersebut. Pihak kehumasan perusahaan belum memaksimalkan strategi komunikasi humas secara efektif. Setelah dilakukan evaluasi pada tahun 2018 terhadap kegiatan kehumasan seperti kegiatan humas rintis/bridging, topografi, drilling/pengeboran dan recording/perekaman data pada pelaksanaan survei seismik yang dilakukan oleh PT. Elnusa Geosains masih belum sesuai target yang diinginkan. Oleh karena itu agar dampak strategi komunikasi humas dalam pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan pembentukan reputasi dan citra perusahaan dapat maksimal secara signifikan maka berbagai tehnik dan dan strategi harus dikemas dan direncanakan secara lebih kreatif membuat pesan-pesan untuk mencapai tujuan serta manfaat diadakannya kegiatan survei seismik di masyarakat tercapai. Elnusa Geosciences is absolutely necessary because as a company engaged in providing survey and seismic services carried out on public / private land, both in urban and rural areas, it is necessary to have public relations personnel who have knowledge of public relations and initiatives to improve community understanding according to the vision / company and government programm. The purpose of this study was to determine the stages of public relations communication strategy of PT. Elnusa Geosains. The paradigm of this research is constructivism with qualitative methods and using a case study approach which is a systematic research that investigates phenomena in real life contexts. Data collection by observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. In conducting the analysis the researcher uses several target audiences / stakeholders, determines the purpose of public relations communication, designs messages and selects communication channels, sets the budget and the results achieved. The results of the analysis show that the Public Relations Communication Strategy that has been implemented by Public Relations of PT.Elnusa Geosciences is good, but the public relations communication that is implemented still lacks initiative and creativity or integrated / integrated, this happens because public relations staff and public relations staff or local public relations lack of understanding of the importance of public relations tasks besides that also lack of knowledge about public relations. In the activities of public relations duty implementation it is still not well integrated so that there are several problems that arise in the implementation of the survey and seismic activities carried out by the company. The public relations company has not maximized the public relations communication strategy effectively. After evaluation in 2018 on public relations activities such as public relations, bridging, topography, drilling / drilling and data recording / recording activities during the seismic survey conducted by PT. Elnusa Geoscience still does not meet the desired target. Therefore, so that the impact of the public relations communication strategy in the implementation of socialization and the formation of corporate reputation and image can be maximally significant, various techniques and strategies must be packaged and planned to be more creative in making messages to achieve the goals and benefits of achieving seismic surveys in the community. .
