Abstract

ABSTRAK PT XYZ menggunakan line mesin Extruder PVC 04 type BEX-2-92-22V untuk memproduksi berbagai ukuran pipa. Salah satu masalah yang sering dihadapi di dalam pembuatan pipa adalah kerusakan mesin. Untuk mencegah dan mengurangi kerusakan mesin, PT XYZ telah menerapkan Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) sebagai salah satu tool yang diterapkan dengan tujuan meningkatkan produktivitas dan inisiatif improvement di industri manufaktur. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah menemukan strategi terbaik untuk meningkatkan kinerja TPM pada line mesin Extruder PVC 04 type BEX-2-92-22V di PT XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) yaitu pengukuran efektivitas mesin produksi yang terdiri atas pengukuran rasio ketersediaan waktu, rasio kinerja mesin, dan kualitas produk. Metode ini menjadi faktor kunci dalam pengukuran produktivitas dari proses produksi. Peningkatan berfokus pada hasil identifikasi faktor dominan dari six big losses yang memberikan kontribusi paling besar dan berpengaruh terhadap nilai OEE. Brdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan, nilai OEE pada line mesin Extruder PVC 04 type BEX-2-92-22V adalah adalah 63,87%. Nilai efektivitas ini tergolong di bawah standar, karena standar nilai OEE untuk perusahaan kelas dunia idealnya adalah 85%. Faktor Reduce Speed Losses dengan time losses sebesar 621,2 jam menjadi yang paling dominan dari Six Big Losses yang memberikan kontribusi paling besar dan berpengaruh terhadap Nilai OEE, dengan total Time Losses yaitu 1982,1 jam dari keenam faktor Six Big Losses. Tindakan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan nilai OEE yaitu pembentukan tim autonomus maintenance untuk mengatasi masalah pada part mesin yang sering mengalami kerusakan dan membuat standar kegiatan Preventive Maintenance agar mesin tetap terjaga dari Reduce Speed Losses sehingga Nilai OEE dapat ditingkatkan. One problem that is often faced in making pipes is engine damage. To prevent and reduce engine damage, PT XYZ has implemented Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) as one of the tools implemented with the aim of increasing productivity and improvement initiatives in the manufacturing industry. The main objective of this study was to find the best strategy to improve TPM performance on the BEX-2-92-22V PVC 04 Extruder machine line at PT XYZ. This study uses the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method, which measures the effectiveness of production machines which consists of measuring the time availability ratio, engine performance ratio, and product quality. This method is a key factor in measuring productivity from the production process. Improvement focuses on the results of identification of the dominant factors of the six big losses that make the greatest contribution and influence the OEE value. Based on the analysis carried out, the OEE value on the BEX-2-92-22V type PVC 04 Extruder machine line is 63.87%. This effectiveness value is classified as sub-standard, because the OEE value standard for world-class companies is ideally 85%. The Reduce Speed Losses factor with time losses of 621.2 hours is the most dominant of the Six Big Losses which gives the greatest contribution and affects the OEE Value, with a total Time Losses of 1982.1 hours from the six factors of Six Big Losses. The corrective action to increase OEE value is the establishment of an autonomous maintenance team to overcome the problems in machine parts that often experience damage and make a standard Preventive Maintenance activity so that the engine is maintained from Reduce Speed Losses so that the OEE Value can be increased.
