Abstract

The existence of Sales Division in a company is very vital because because it is able to make a large contribution in building and generating profits for the company from the sale of products to customers. But in its daily process there are still obstacles that can affect performance both from the Sales individually which can have an impact on the process point afterwards. In doing the jobdesk, Sales have been given facilities from the company such as a system that has the goal to simplify each job. But practically, the existing system has not been implemented properly as evidenced by several Sales who do not routinely use the system that is already available and choose to do it manually. From the above problems the author conducted a study with the Observation method where the writer observes and is directly involved in daily activities as well as in the process of inputting network installation for datacomm services. At the same time the author conducted interviews and direct research on employees who acted as users to understand more about the details of the current business processes. Therefore the author provides a solution by analyzing and designing the system using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling method. Conclusion of the existing problems along with the results of previous research, the authors decided to analyze and design a system development for support Sales’ daily activities. With the design of this system the authors believe that business processes will run faster and more efficiently because they don't need physical documents anymore. Divisi Sales dalam suatu perusahaan sangat vital peranannya karena mampu memberikan kontribusi yang besar dalam membangun serta menghasilkan keuntungan untuk perusahaan dari hasil penjualan produk kepada pelanggan. Namun dalam proses setiap harinya masih ditemukan beberapa kendala yang bisa mempengaruhi performansi baik dari Sales secara individu yang bisa berakibat pada titik proses setelahnya. Dalam melakukan jobdesk-nya , Setiap Sales sudah diberikan fasilitas dari perusahaan berupa sistem yang memiliki tujuan untuk mempermudah setiap pekerjaan. Namun pada praktiknya, sistem yang sudah ada belum diimplementasikan dengan baik terbukti dari beberapa Sales yang tidak secara rutin menggunakan sistem yang sudah tersedia dan memilih melakukannya secara manual. Dari permasalahan di atas penulis melakukan penelitian dengan metode Observasi dimana penulis mengamati dan terlibat secara langsung dalam kegiatan sehari-hari seperti halnya dalam proses input order pasang jaringan untuk layanan datacomm. Di saat yang bersamaan penulis melakukan wawancara serta penelitian langsung pada Sales sebagai user untuk lebih memahami detil proses bisnis yang berjalan saat ini. Maka dari itu penulis memberikan solusi dengan melakukan analisa dan perancangan sistem menggunakan metode pemodelan Unified Modelling Language (UML). Kesimpulan dari permasalahan yang ada beserta hasil penelitian sebelumnya, penulis memutuskan untuk menganalisa dan merancang pengembangan sistem untuk menunjang kegiatan Sales setiap harinya. Dengan dirancangnya sistem ini penulis meyakini bahwa proses bisnis akan berjalan dengan lebih cepat dan efisien karena tidak membutuhkan dokumen fisik lagi.
