Abstract
During the period April 2018-September 2018 Production of GUSSET R, RR (K81A) on the Rotary Machine in the Welding section reached 1600 and the defect occurred at 294 in six months, with a high production amount, GUSSET R, RR (K81A) is inseparable from the presence defect. Therefore the purpose of this research is to reduce the Welding over defect. There are 2 types of Defect in this paint product obtained from CTQ including reject Welding Over and Reject Bolt Rejection, from the determination the measurement of the Sigma Level value is calculated to reach 3.8 and the average DPMO value reaches 10000, after the measurement is carried out Analysts are in the pareto variety to find out the largest number of defects of the type of defect, and the fishbone diagram identifies the causes of the Welding over defects, including the factors causing "Men, Material, Method, Money, Machine, Environment". Improve Phase based on FMEA data from the causes of defects that occur in the company to get the largest RPN results is from the factors that cause Welding Adjustment Errors and incorrect Position Placement, so we get a proposed improvement to reduce defects that occur in the Improve stage through 5W + 1H, including doing make a more accurate purchase of material, and adjust the position of the jig so it does not tilt / slide during the process. The last stage is Control, to provide recommendations so that the company is consistent with the quality of the company so that the same problem does not occur again in the future. Keywords : DMAIC, Quality, Pareto Diagram, Six Sigma, FMEA Selama periode April 2018-September 2018 Produksi GUSSET R,RR (K81A) pada Rotari Machine pada bagian Welding mencapai 1600 dan defect yang terjadi sebesar 294 dalam enam bulan, dengan jumlah produksi yang tinggi tersebut GUSSET R,RR (K81A) tidak terlepas dari adanya defect. Maka dari itu tujuan adanya penelitian ini untuk mengurangi defect Welding over tersebut. Jenis Defect pada produk cat ini ada 2 yang didapat dari CTQ diantaranya reject Welding Over dan reject Bolt Retak, dari penentuan tersebut dilakukan pengukuran dari perhitungan nilai Level Sigma dengan rata mencapai 3,8 dan rata-rata nilai DPMO mencapai 10000, setelah pengukuran dilakukan tahap Analyst yaitu terdapat diagam pareto untuk mengetahui jumlah defect terbesar dari jenis defect tersebut, dan fishbone diagram mengidentifikasi penyebab defect Welding over tersebut diantaranya dari faktor penyebab “Men, Material, Method, Money, Machine, Environment”. Tahap Improve berdasarkan data FMEA dari penyebab defect yang terjadi di perusahaan hingga mendapatkan hasil RPN terbesar adalah dari faktor penyebab Kesalahan Setingan Welding dan Penempatan posisi yang tidak sesuai, sehingga didapat usulan perbaikan untuk mengurangi defect yang terjadi di tahap Improve melalui 5W+1H, diantaranya melakukan melakukan pembelian material yang lebih akurat, dan mengatur posisi pada jig agar tidak miring/geser pada saat proses. Tahap terakhir adalah Control, untuk memberikan rekomendasi agar peruahaan konsisten terhadap kualias perusahaan sehingga permasalahan yang sama tidak terjadi lagi dikemudian hari.
