Abstract

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence related to the Effect of Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure, Institutional Ownership and Sales Growth on Corporate Tax Avoidance Practices. This study uses the basis of secondary data in the form of financial reports and annual report of Manufacturing Companies in the Sector of Miscellaneous Industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the year of 2013 – 2018. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis techniques, with a population of 43 Manufacturing Companies in the Sector of Miscellaneous Industry. The sample used were 9 companies, and using purposive sampling technique. The data collection is done by downloading financial reports and annual reports through the official website of Indonesia Stock Exchange, www.idx.co.id. The result of this study indicate that Corporate Social Responsibility Disclosure has no significant effect on Corporate Tax Avoidance Practices, while Institutional Ownership and Sales Growth have a significant negative effect on Corporate Tax Avoidance Practices. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti empiris terkait pengaruh pengungkapan corporate social responsibility, kepemilikan institusional dan pertumbuhan penjualan terhadap praktik penghindaran pajak perusahaan. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder berupa laporan keuangan dan laporan tahunan Perusahaan Manufaktur Sektor Aneka Industri yang terdaftar pada Bursa Efek Indonesia untuk periode 2013 – 2018. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik analisis regresi linear berganda, dengan populasi sejumlah 43 perusahaan Manufaktur Sektor Aneka Industri. Sampel yang digunakan dalam dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 9 perusahaan , dengan metode pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mengunduh laporan keuangan serta laporan tahunan melalui situs resmi milik Bursa Efek Indonesia yaitu www.idx.co.id. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Praktik Penghindaran Pajak Perusahaan, sementara Kepemilikan Institusional dan Pertumbuhan Penjualan berpengaruh secara signifikan ke arah negatif terhadap Praktik Penghindaran Pajak Perusahaan.
