Abstract

An increase in the number of subscribers of a mobile network operator not only impacts the operator's increase in revenue, but also impacts network quality degradation. Communication from MS (Mobile Station) to MS (Mobile Station) requires good signal quality without interference and noise. The objective of the final project is to measure signal strength and quality when communicating with parameters measured by SINR (Signal Interference to Noise Ratio) and RSRP (Reference Signal Received Power) using Drive Test in Kota Pekanbaru area. In the 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) parameter measurement SINR (Signal Interference to Noise Ratio) measures the quality of 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) with drive test, and measures the Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) with drive test in the city area Pekanbaru. The results of this research have a value of SINR and RSRP parameters before and after optimization, which is where the value of RSRP after the optimization with a large value equal-100 dBm at a percentage of 94.12% and the gain occurs by 6.25% of the data before the optimization is 87.87%. In SINR measurements after optimization with a large value equal to 6 dB at a percentage of 80.16% and the gain occurs that is 5.61% of the data before optimization ie 74.54% Keywords: SINR (Signal Interference Noise to Ratio), RSRP (Reference Signal Received Power), Drive test. Peningkatan jumlah pelanggan suatu operator jaringan seluler tidak hanya berdampak pada peningkatan penghasilan operator tersebut, tetapi berdampak juga pada penurunan kualitas jaringan. Komunikasi dari MS (Mobile Station) ke MS (Mobile Station) membutuhkan kualitas sinyal yang baik tanpa adanya interferensi dan noise. Tujuan Proyek Akhir ini yaitu mengukur kekuatan dan kualitas sinyal saat komunikasi dengan parameter yang diukur SINR (Signal Interference to Noise Ratio) dan RSRP (Reference Signal Received Power) menggunakan Drive Test pada area Kota Pekanbaru. Pada Pengukuran parameter 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) yaitu SINR (Signal Interference to Noise Ratio) mengukur kualitas layanan 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) dengan drive test, dan mengukur RSRP (Reference Signal Received Power) dengan drive test pada area Kota Pekanbaru. Hasil penelitian ini memiliki nilai parameter SINR dan RSRP sebelum dan sesudah Optimasi, yang dimana nilai RSRP setelah Optimasi dengan nilai besar sama -100 dBm pada persentase 94.12% dan penguatan yang terjadi sebesar 6.25% dari data sebelum Optimasi yaitu 87.87%. Pada pengukuran SINR setelah optimasi dengan nilai besar sama 6 dB pada persentase 80.16% dan penguatan yang terjadi yaitu sebesar 5.61% dari data sebelum Optimasi yaitu 74.54%.
