Abstract

This study discusses the effect of liquidity, capital growth, sales growth, company size and leverage on profitability. This research uses panel data regression analysis method by testing f test hypotheses, coefficient of determination and t test. The population used in this study is the manufacturing sector of the food and beverage sub sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015-2017. Samples were taken by purposive sampling sampling method. The sample in this study amounted to 28 company data during the period 2015-2017. The results of the study used software eviews 9.0. Based on the results of this study indicate that sales growth, and leverage significantly influence profitability, company size has a significant negative effect on profitability. While liquidity and working capital turnover have no significant effect on profitability. Keywords: profitability, liquidity, working capital, sales growth, company size, and leverage. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh likuiditas, perputaran modal kerja, pertumbuhan penjualan, ukuran perusahaan dan leverage terhadap profitabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisa regresi data panel dengan pengujian hipotesis uji f, koefisien determinasi dan uji t. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor manufaktur sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada periode 2015-2017. Sampel diambil dengan metode purposive sampling dengan memenuhi kriteria pemilihan sampel. Sampel pada penelitian ini ada sebanyak 28 data perusahaan selama periode 2015–2017. Hasil penelitian yang menggunakan software eviews 9.0. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan penjualan, dan leverage berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap profitabilitas, ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap profitabilitas. Sedangkan likuiditas dan perputaran modal kerja tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Kata kunci : profitabilitas, likuiditas, perputaran modal kerja, pertumbuhan penjualan, ukuran perusahaan, dan leverage.
