Abstract
Indonesia is one of the countries with the largest multiculturalism in the world. It has abundant natural wealth which is an attraction of this country, because of its diversity, so that Indonesia is one of the most popular countries as a destination for tourism destinations, especially local and foreign people. in several decades the level of visits by domestic tourists and foreign tourists has increased every year. through the Wonderful Indonesia branding, the ranking of Indonesia's tourism competitiveness in the world itself continues to rise. After jumping sharply from ranking 70 in 2013 to ranking 50 in 2015, Indonesia's competitiveness index shot up again by 8 places to rank 42 in 2017. This data is taken based on the official World Economic Forum report. This potential is behind the management of hotel or property companies such as the Wagiyo Family, which has a background in developing the property business by building resting places in the form of villas and hotel rooms and restaurants as a complement. In addition, it is hoped that Kaliurang, which has been a tourist spot from ancient times and has also been known as a resting place for the Dutch during the colonial period, can attract tourists to visit today. Keywords : Tourism, Villa and Hotel, Kaliurang Negara Indonesia adalah salah satu negara dengan multikultur terbesar di dunia. mempunyai kekayaan alam yang sangat berlimpah yang menjadi suatu daya tarik negara ini, karena keberagamannya sehingga indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang paling diminati sebagai tujuan destinasi pariwisata terkhusus masyarakat lokal dan manca negara. dalam beberapa dekade tingkat kunjungan wisatawan domestik dan wisatawan mancanegara kian meningkat setiap tahunnya. melalui branding Wonderful Indonesia, peringkat daya saing pariwisata indonesia di dunia sendiri terus naik. setelah melompat tajam dari ranking 70 pada 2013 menjadi ranking 50 pada 2015, indeks daya saing indonesia kembali melesat naik 8 peringkat ke peringkat 42 pada 2017. data ini diambil berdasarkan laporan resmi World Economic Forum. Potensi inilah yang melatarbelakangi pengelola perusahaan hotel ataupun property seperti Keluarga Wagiyo yang punya latar belakang untuk mengembangkan bisnis property dengan membangun tempat peristirahatan berbentuk villa dan kamar hotel serta rumah makan sebagai pelengkap. Selain itu diharapkan kaliurang yang menjadi tempat wisata dari zaman dahulu dan juga telah dikenal sebagai tempat peristirahatan belanda pada masa penjajahan dapat menarik minat wisatawan berkunjung di masa sekarang.
