Abstract
Dalam rangka digitalisasi televisi di Indonesia, pemerintah mencangkan untuk mematikan siaran televisi analog atau Analog Switch Off (ASO) pada 2018. Dikarenakan keputusan ini menuai banyak protes, pemerintah memutuskan untuk mematikan siaran analog secara bertahap (switch off by natural). Hingga akhirnya pemerintah kembali berjanji untuk melakukan ASO 2 tahun setelahnya yaitu pada 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma positivisme dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan menyebar kuesioner ke 100 responden. Teori yang digunakan adalah Difusi Inovasi Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah para responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang tinggi tentang uji coba siaran televisi digital dalam hal keunggulan relatif dari TV Digital yang mereka ketahui. Dapat dikatakan bahwa masyarakat sudah dapat memutuskan bahwa inovasi televisi digital dapat mereka terima. Namun untuk implementasi atau penggunaan TV Digital di masyarakat masih sedikit. Kata Kunci : Televisi Digital, Analog Switch Off, Difusi Inovasi In order to digitize television in Indonesia, the government plans to turn off analog television broadcasting or Analog Switch Off (ASO) in 2018. Due to this decision, there was a lot of protest, the government decided to turn off analog broadcasting gradually (switch off by natural). Until finally the government again promised to do ASO 2 years later, in 2020. This research uses the positivism paradigm with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique is done by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The results of this study are the respondents have a high level of knowledge about digital television broadcast trials in terms of the relative superiority of Digital TV they know. It can be said that the community can already decide that digital television innovation can be accepted by them.
